I love the color as a brown enthusiast. The material may not be my favorite, but it always tied so this is less of an issue. I have not attempted to block light with them. I think they might look best with another color woven in as I saw one buyer do with black and red. They're pleasant!

Okay, so I never write reviews but I felt like this one deserved one. First the purple is not the same color as the listing, even in regular sunshine it’s not the same. Second, the quality is also not like the photos.. the photos made this look elegant and good material. Third this is a pain in the @ss to put on the bed. The ties are a joke and you need two strings on the top 4 corners to “tie” it and they give you one? The ONLY reason I’m not returning it is because my daughter loves it.. thank goodness kids have very low expectations. I feel like I ordered a nice canopy and got a wish exclusive but she is happy so I am happy. Overall I would not buy this again and I am very disappointed in the quality this was worth maybe $9.99 MAX ... show more

We got this for our 3 year old daughter, whose favorite colors are pink and blue. She absolutely loves it! Assembly was simple once I laid it out flat on the floor and figured out where the top was. I did have to make my own holes for the pole pegs because there weren't any and I couldn't see any way of doing it without making holes besides draping it overtop of the pegs and that looked strange.
