This super cute! The makeup looks real! I can’t wait for my daughter to open it on Christmas. She loves getting ready with me and now she has her own things. Not sure on durability or sturdiness yet because she hasn’t played with it yet but I think it will hold up well. And the purse that it all comes in is soo cute and looks to be very well made. My only complaint is that the brushes for the eyes could Be a little fluffier. The bristles are a little short and and if my little girl isn’t gentle she could easily hurt her eye. But overall love this as a gift! ... show more

Everything your little girl needs to dress up! The soft travel purse contains all the makeup I remember playing with as a kid. And while it looks so real, even the sparkling eyeshadow, the makeup is completely fake but still a blast to play pretend with. My five-year-old daughter loves this. The surprise on her face when she just kept pulling new items out of the bag. Blush and eyeshadow and sunglasses and lipstick. Oh, she loves the lipstick! The item shipped early, and wasn't missing a piece. The sunglasses were shipped in a soft fabric bag with its own cleaning cloth. All the makeup pieces were wrapped individually for safe travel, and everything fit in the purse itself. When I unwrapped this item, I remember thinking, "Wow, this is luxurious for a kid's toy", but I guess that's what you should expect for $25. I recommend buying this for your little girl, or gifting it to the little girl in your life! ... show more

    • Great but the phone is the real gem
Ok I hardly ever write reviews but I must talk about this set. The makeup and purse and sunglasses are perfect for our 4 y/o girls, looks realistic and fits well. However the phone is really something. First, as another reviewer said, it certainly sings the abc's wrong, and the last letter said is ZED and not the usual Z (which is the UK way, I think). It's a hoot to have people listen and slowly have this look of confusion spread over their face. Why five stars? Because if you've grown up on NES games like me, the music from the phone is exactly like the NES chiptunes of the 80's. Rather than be annoyed my kid is constantly activating it, I love listening to this little gadget as it gets me all nostalgic over those old games. ... show more
