Purchased this set as a Christmas gift for my 5 year old daughter who loves playing dress up and anything girly. It really is a cute first makeup set and I know she will love it, but I’m glad I purchased when it was on sale ($19) vs paying the current price ($30) because it is MUCH smaller than I expected. I could probably fit this in her stocking. I anticipate her having trouble removing the items from the middle tier (see image) because the top does not completely fold out of the way. ... show more

I bought this make up case for my granddaughter for a visit she was making from Japan. I selected it based on the claims it was "non toxic and safe." She immediately broke out around her eyes after applying the face power and blush. Fortunately the reaction was almost immediate so she didn't try any of the other products. Unfortunately I bought it too far in advance of her arrival so the window for return was closed by the time she came. Otherwise I would have returned it. I would like to update my review. The company obviously reads these comments as I received an email from them offering me a full refund on this makeup kit. I certainly did not request it but really appreciate this response. I would not hesitate to order from them again...just not the makeup kit for my granddaughter. ... show more

When I received the makeup box it was very small. For the price. Small box. But I keep it because she will love it has a lot of things different make up. Can't wait to give it to her for Xmas. But the price was little higher for such a small box.
