I wrapped three chairs in my office that multiple people use. Seems that many do not simple sit on the chair but continually sit then slide forward into a slouch which drags the cover off the seat towards the front eventually ripping the tie downs off and rendering the cover useless. I speculate that these covers would be fine for use in the home. They look nice. Install easily. They did not last long enough to require cleaning, but I imagine a simple machine wash and dry would've cleaned them up. I tried on two different chair styles, the covers fit well on both. The flaw was in the application and excess misuse of the product, not the product itself. Please let me know if the tie down system is every redesigned with a more durable material. I've been looking for a new office chair thus far no luck. Mine is 10 years old off white leather seat is rather worn . I order this as a quick fix. . Just got it. Fits great very thin and stretchy had concerns about see through but nope. So happy with it I order two more for my Car seats seat only..again worn I tried this on the car seat and it fit.. Not sure would most likely advise hand wash not machine. I am the only one here using my office chair and I ordered black as you didn't have white. so far happy even if it wears at the price point I would just order another. Didn't tear and the seat is wide.. this was a great bargin and great find. Did take some time to arrive but was in no immediate hurry as I had a cushion on it. TBH, I really didn’t think this would work out. The cat had worked a number on it for 3 years. Turns out it fits like a glove, looks good and feels better to sit on than the original leather. Our cat has half heartedly scratched on it a couple of times but I don’t think it’s as satisfying to scratch as leather and he’s lost interest. I bought this for my office chair at work. I was worried because the backrest is large and oblong but it’s so stretchy it fit!! My chair is black so it doesn’t look thin, but I think had I chosen a lighter color and stretched it like that, the black chair may show through. Great product! Great price!
