Pic shows color 0443 with an aura topcoat from a different brand. This set has everything you need to have strong gel nails in no time and for a fraction of the cost of salon gel nails. The uv light is great and works perfectly according to the directions. I admit I added 30 seconds to every curing time and it cured very firmly with no problem. You wouldn’t do cure for as long for magnetic cat eye nails, but if you’re looking for a firm top coat cure then this is ideal. This polish is the best gel polish I have ever got and trust me I’ve had TONS in the past. I love how it dries super hard and doesn’t peel off in two days like past polishes I’ve bought. I loved these gel polish, they don't chip easily at all and it has a beautiful application! just know all the bottle are very small, but I feel Its enough for multiple uses, considering its 46 polishes is amazing. The media could not be loaded. I used this gel polish and lamp when I received it and a few hours after finishing my hands became extremely itchy, swollen, and red. I could have easily grabbed a knife and cut my skin off because it was that itchy. I went to the doctor and they gave me a medication that absolutely did not touch the itch. After about a week it went away and I figured I had touched something I was allergic to or it was the nail dehydrator because normally nail dehydrators irritate my skin. I decided to do my nails a few weeks later using the same dehydrator but used a dip powder instead. No reaction that time. Last night I tried the polish again but this time without the dehydrator or primer. Just needed a quick set for Easter. About half way through painting with this gel polish my skin began itching again. I finished the set and ran to my kitchen to put my hand in a bowl of ice water. I was unable to sleep through the night because the itching was so bad! This morning I went to my doctor and told them I had used this. They said I now have contact dermatitis and every time I use this my hands will react like this due to the unregulated chemicals used to create this product!! Looking to save money from going to the nail salon, I bought this kit. It arrived quickly, and packaged very nice. Would even make a good gift. The kit has everything you need to get started. Everything was easy to use, and quality is top notch. The colors have great pigment. The bottles are on the smaller side, BUT, seeing that the colors are so pigmented, a little goes a long way. It does come with a good variety in colors which is nice. The bottles are on the smaller side but not terrible. Some people mentioned it going on thick which I can see if you don't wipe your brush off well enough. I did not have issues with that personally. My biggest issue is with the the light and with how long the paint lasts on my nails. So It takes about 45 minutes to do one hand (from my pics attached, I did a little design but nothing crazy) the light definitely took way longer than 60-90 seconds. For just the base coat I had to put my hand under the light about 5-6 times (90 seconds) and even then sometimes its still tacky. (And thats with a thin coat on) then doing each coat of polish, drying then the design, drying, then the top coat and more drying...ya it was definitely more time consuming than I had thought. I recently switched to gel because I have kids, I thought this would allow me to do my nails quicker and Id not have to worry about messing them up because I always seem to have to touch something after I just painted my nails and they're still damp. Lol. This definitely didnt cut back on the time. But the colors do look nice once you actually get them dry! Butttttttt they only last ONE day! I expected them to last at least a week... But no. I did the pink and blue ones first the next day, not even a full 24 hours later my pointer nail peeled completely off. Then my more recent ones the purple I had for a day before the corner of my thumb chipped off. So that's disappointing for sure...all that time and they havnt even last two full days on my hands. Id say this is ok for a beginner or maybe a teen whos into nails. But other than that id probably spend a little more money next time and invest in better quality...it's alright. ... show more
