I bought these filter cartridges hoping for a cost-effective option for my Tetra Whisper filter. They fit well and seem to do an okay job of filtering out debris. However, I've noticed they don't last quite as long as the original Tetra brand cartridges. After a few weeks, the water flow starts to decrease, indicating it's time for a replacement. They're reasonably priced, which is a plus, but if you're looking for top-notch filtration efficiency and longevity, you might want to stick with the Tetra branded cartridges. ... show more

I’ve been taking care of Marne life for 20 years and these are by far the worst cheapest filter cartridges I’ve used. I wish I could give zero stars. I have to change my turtle’s filter every other day which is different from changing twice a month because these cheap filters get clogged after each feeding. Will not be using the rest of them.
