    • So far...so good! ...Update Below after nearly a year.
I have only had this for about a week, but it has already exceeded my expectations. I thought I was going to have to spend $200-$300 to get something like this that would be effective, but this does the job. So far I have not gone above level 1 of the intensity levels to work on the areas on my body where I need work. This is not because I'm afraid to, but because I haven't had to. So, it's plenty powerful. I use this on my lower back (sacrum), and on my shoulder, on my muscles. I also used it on my Achilles tendon. I have had Achilles and calf issues on and off for a long time in my running career. This tool really helps. Having said this, I also do eccentric stair stretches and strength work as well. When I use this on my Achilles I just "hover" over it for awhile if it's particularly sore so it can settle down. After it does though, I can be more "aggressive" with it and cover the area like I would with muscles. I also use this on my hip flexor which is sometimes tight. So, can it work on tendons and skeletal areas as well? Yes, but use caution. As far as skeletal areas, using it on the muscles surrounding the area is quite helpful, but if you see a chiropractor, I'm not suggesting this is a substitute. The question now is its longevity. The battery lasts a long time. It charges relatively quickly. It's portable. The different attachments are helpful. Again, the question now will be it's durability. With that: So far...so good! Now it is November 23, 2021- I have really like this tool. In fact it has allowed me to keep my calf strains at bay and my Achilles have benefitted as well. The question I had going in was longevity. I have put this thing through the ringer. I have used it more less every day since I've gotten it. The hitch now is that it is beginning to not turn on. It still charges, the battery still holds its power, but after the "on" button is switched on and I hit the "+" to activate it, nothing happens. What I've been doing is pushing it over and over again until it ultimately turns on. I have a feeling that pretty soon it will not respond at all. This will be disappointing, because as I have said, it has really been doing what I have needed it to do. Now, because I completed the product registration form, contacted Medcursor, and showed them a video of what was occurring, they are replacing my massage gun, and I am very grateful! ... show more

I tried 2 other brands and they got weaker and weaker too quickly, the first one of these Medcursor pounders as I call them has lasted a long time and so I wanted a 2nd as a spare as sometime these brands just dissapear! Perfect for sore middle of back that I cant reach , tho have massaged own back for years, this really works great. I use it with the side edge of the big foam ball , not direct forward bounce, not as jolting on sore areas If you have one part of back sore real bad and you will take the time to start from either end of your spine toward it, from neck down and tail bone up, it will relax the musces enough that by the time to get to hurt spot, then it hs more leeway of muscle to help it get back to normal ( using it for pinched disk like that) for when a muscle is strained or pulled, it tightens up in a cramp/ pain and the extra relaxation from either end, lets it relax too ... show more

After a small issue with our first unit (it didn’t hold a charge), we exchanged it, and the new one has been fantastic. It holds a charge well, lasting through multiple uses, which is a big plus for us. We love the variety of head attachments—they’re great for targeting different muscle areas. Our kids even enjoy using it, and it’s become a popular tool for the whole family! I suppose one critique we have is we slightly wish the vibration felt deeper instead of just faster at higher speed. Overall, it’s helped a lot with tension in my neck and shoulders. Highly recommend! ... show more

Its great. My husband loves it and its amazing for muscle knots and tension. May feel sore after long usage in one spot but the discomfort goes away for good after a day versus using it for temporarily relief and the discomfort/knot comes back. Thats me and my husband experience that might be different for someone else but totally a gem to have in your home. Also great to use with tea tree oil and muscle aching cream like menthol etc ... show more
