  • A Must For Crown Moulding & Any Wood Trim Projects
It took a little time to understand instructions & implement properly but once you got use to reading the scales you become more comfortable with the tool & the results show. Tight fitting joints.

  • Solid accurate tool
I have purchased several tools Azuno/Mecurate tools and this is my favorite to date. I previously purchased the plastic version of this which was decent but had flex issues that led to slightly inaccurate readings. This one fixed all issues. It is solid aluminum and has a very stiff pivot point. This means it stays where you stop it and doesnt accidentally shift when handled. I checked it against my engineering squares and other known angles. It was very accurate and has no play in the hinge. I highly recommend this tool for speedy miter joint angles. ... show more

  • This is what I've been missing!
This protractor for the miter saw is exactly what I have been missing, and I really wish I'd had it years earlier! It is so easy to use, and makes last minute angle checks quick and accurate before making a cut. The Mercurate team has done it again!!!

  • Buy the Starrett. Very inaccurate!! You will be sorry if you use it before checking!!
This protractor is off .5 degrees to the positive and 4 degrees to the negative. The pin holes measure .127- and the pins measure .1214 and .1237 respectively accounting for between .0056 and .0033 slop even when the assembly screw is completely tight. When the protractor is zero'd at 90 degrees, the degree marks which should read 45 are off. If you buy this, you better check it first or you will be sorry trying to make cuts. ... show more

  • Not worth it
Product arrived when expected, problem being it has a 1/8" of movement. Doesn't stay on angle.
