I struggle with trying to hang pictures. That was the main reason for getting it. The ruler is a huge help. The rubber on the back is a great paint saver when measuring as well. So glad I got it.

I'm really glad that I have this tool. It's incredibly helpful to have both a level and a ruler in one tool instead of having to go back and forth, especially for shelf and picture hanging. And the sharp tapered edge of the ruler is great for drawing lines. I also like that there are measurement conversions on the back for length, area, and volume. So convenient! The level is very sturdy and well-made, and useful for indoor or outdoor projects. It has rubber shock absorbers on both ends, in case you should happen to drop it, but they are also removable should you need to get into tight corners or just not want them on the level (as I see some other buyers mention in their reviews). ... show more

I like this level with a built-in ruler, just what I needed to help me install shelves so they are flat. But do wish they had a padding on the back so they do not slide around so easily, while you're trying to draw the line. I may try to make a backing for you it.

This durable level worked exceptionally well! I used it to complete a project with a large whiteboard. I wanted to section off measured areas and apply Washi masking tape. The combination of the ruler and the straight-edge was incredibly useful. I was able to easily read the large numbers down to a 16th of an inch. The fact that I could immediately level the line added accuracy and precision. The bubble vials were clear and easy to read. The removable rubber caps were pliable and easy to remove (button on/off locking system) which allowed for measurement from the corners. Another "stand out" feature was the 45° bubble vial. I wanted to draw a diamond shape on the whiteboard. The combination of the ruler, straight-edge, and the 45° vial allowed for an accurate and quick job. ... show more
