I used this metronome to help my husband walk to the beat, 72 beats per minute. He has severe Parkinson's disease and has to use a walker to keep his balance. The beat of this metronome improved his gait quality by taking longer strides and without freezing episodes. The metronome was needly wrapped and placed inside a box that was made specifically for it. This box was then placed in an Amazon box with air pillows for shipping. By the way, the stopper that needs to be removed from the metronome body bottom is not white anymore, it is now black for the one with wood grain. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I play the guitar and I strum really loud. I previously downloaded some metronome apps from my phone, and although they are free, they were just not loud enough for me to recognize the beat while strumming. This metronome is just the item I need, it is incredibly loud, and offers this switch at the back, that helps with counting different signatures. You can hear it from the video, the bell chime is the signature, you can set it as 0,1,2,3,4, and 6. ... show more

I only have it a couple of days but ticks all the right boxes and is honestly priced at $24.99. I had previously bought the plastic (instead of the wooden) model of a premium brand at x3 the price but at least for now I haven’t seen any difference in quality. I am sure wooden models from other brands may have better quality control (for x6 the price) but if this lasts long enough (has an all metal mechanism) then it is a great product. ... show more
