That's how I ended up with the WheelX 36-Inch 2-in-1 Mechanic Creeper. At first, I thought it was just another cool tool, but then an unexpected job came up, and it turned out to be a real lifesaver! However, I do have one complaint: the locking wheels. They feel a bit flimsy and don’t really lock as securely as I'd hoped, which can be annoying when you need stability. Despite this drawback, I’m overall satisfied with the purchase. If I hadn't gotten this creeper, I would have definitely been stuck during my recent repairs. I’ve been looking at these for years to replace my old flat creeper that is a one trick pony. This is going to be awesome for tired knees when working on the side of a car when waxing it or working inside on a door or whatever might be needed at this height in the seating position. Flat position is plenty comfortable and the creeper rolls easily in either state of assembly. You might need a little persuasion when assembling a bolt or two like I did but it appears to be very well-made and the casters look like they are high-quality so everything should last for some time. I got this to wash my cars and work on my cars and while the design is really well done, I don't like that when it's in the sitting position that it doesn't lock. You can actually lift the top portion of it and it will lift up. As far as comfort goes it is going for a hobby mechanic but if you have to use it all day every day, I do not recommend it since it is a little bit on the stiffer side. I'm pleased with this shop stool / creeper. I really like that I can use it both as a stool and as a lay-down creeper, which really helps to save on valuable space in my garage. I'm not a small guy, and it supports me fine. It rolls easily across my concrete garage floor, and it makes all manner of tasks easier... from cleaning wheels (sitting) to oil changes (laying down). Took me less than half an hour of leisurely time to assemble this. It was very easy to assemble and all the tools were provided but I used my own since it's much better though I appreciate having the option to use their tools.
