The Mech Marvels 2,000 Watt Portable Power Inverter Generator produces clean energy free from voltage spikes and drops without making all of the noise of a regular gas generator. Mech Marvels SinePower Pro 2000i efficiently operates for a full 7 hours on half load by a 79. 7 cc 4-stroke OHV engine, only using 0. 14 gallons of fuel per hour. With auto-idle control it operates at an extremely quiet 53 decibels at idle, quieter than an average conversation. The fully-packed panel comes equipped with two three- prong 120V receptacles, one 12V DC receptacle and one 5V USB port. Low-oil, low-fuel automatic shutdown with indication lights along with overload protection safeguard both your generator and your electronics from damage. Suggested uses general home use for powering sensitive Electronic Equipment, Batteries, Mobile Devices, Small Appliances, on Construction Sites, RV A/C Units. I’m here in Texas with our blizzard of 2021, so I pull out this wonderful generator and nothing! Can’t get it started! My neighbor who is a mechanic finally sprayed fuel injector into the intake and it ran for 5 minutes! Cannot get it to run on propane! I’m not happy! UPDATE - 03/17/2021 I gotta say Support is fantastic. I left a message on Sunday AM with the Tech Support # and by 12 Noon I got a return call. The tech helped me walk through a few things. It still didn't work. Asked if I was willing to keep trying and being a tech myself i said sure. He sent out a new carburetor. It was quick and easy to change. It helped but still was not right. so then Mech Marvels sent out a brand new unit, unboxed it, put oil in, put gas in, viola, it fired right up. I put a load on (Refrigerator, Space heater, Fan, Leaf blower, 2 lamps. Ran for more than an hour, no glitches, purred like a kitten (ok, maybe a lion) but no hiccups. Then tested with Propane. Same conditions. All Good. Now I feel much more ready for the next Texas weather disaster! Thanks for all your help with this Ron! ... show more

Style: 9000 Watt Dual Fuel Gas + LP
Bought this Mech Marvels 9000watt generator for 2 reasons: It was a great deal at just over $800 when all was said and done, and it has a 4 prong 240V outlet and I plan on wiring it in to backup my house. I will say that the delivery process was a P.I.A.! I ordered nearly a month ago. Amazon scheduled and changed delivery on me a couple of times. I was ready to cancel the order, but they finally stuck to it and got it delivered this past weekend. Now that I have it, this thing is pretty cool. It weighs a ton, but I was expecting that. What I wasn't expecting was how well thought out it is. This thing was double boxed, so I had to cut the box apart to get it out. I put the wheels on by shoving a couple of boards under the frame. Once those were in place I realized this had a foot step, so I just folded up the handle (nice!), and tipped it back and had the other half help me get the front feet in place. Now it's easy to move around the garage and get over to the side of the house near the breaker box. This thing has warnings all over it about adding oil. I added nearly a quart to it (you can't miss the dipstick cause they put a big tag on it), and grabbed my propane tank from the grill. Was easy to start once I realized I had to switch the yellow valve over, just pushed the starter button and it cranked right up! Now all I have to do is get the electrician out to wire up the house… ... show more

    • No Quality Control - Leaked gas and would not start until we paid a genx mechanic to fix

I bought this as a back up generator to two Honda inverter genx I have used for 6 years. We carried this to our camp in Mexico before opening and turning it on. No time to start before we left on our extended 3 month trip. First time we tried to start this, before we even pulled the starter cord there was gas leaking out of the enclosure. We tried starting anyway and no spark. We dragged it to an excellent mechanic 30 miles away. He found that a rubber gasket in the carburetor or gas filter was pinched as the part was screwed in place during fabrication. Thus the leak. The non-starting was caused by two wires having the leads crossed during fabrication and assembly. Two stars simply because after we paid out the $50 in labor the generator seems to be a nice machine. We have barely run it 3 hours so far. This is too early to judge overall longevity and quality. I give myself 1 star for buying an inexpensive machine and then carrying it 500 miles into Mexico without first running it for a while! Review after extended use: After running 2 hours every morning for two months plus ten days at 8 hours daily it is still going strong. Still give 1 star because cost of repairs in USA would have exceeded the purchase price. Two different manufacturing assembly errors made this useless if bought in an emergency situation. ... show more

Needed to get a generate for camping and remote locations. Nice machine, was able to get it setup easily, just needed to add oil and gas. Had no issues with starting the generator. Even included a funnel for the oil. Only thing keeping this from a 5 star was a bolt for a harness was missing, looks like the one that was there was not secured as tight as it should have and fell off. I've owned my generator for 10 days... it stopped running after 9, and will not start. I spoke to a tech from Mech Marvels, but nothing he suggested worked.. Going to decide if I'm going to get a refund, or see if they will fix it. So far, only 3 stars. I was going to give it 5 before this issue arose EDIT: Got it working again.. and 2 months later it's completely dead... again.. and since I'm past the end of the warranty, i have a nice big paperweight. Taking my review down to one star. This generator is not worth the price. Paying more for a Honda is a much better option ... show more

The media could not be loaded. *Speedy delivery, (ordered Tues before Thanksgiving received Monday after Thanksgiving.) *Easy assembly (under 30 minutes) ((back wheels and front stand)) * 2 pulls and started right up! Very easy to assemble in less than 30 min. Packaged in two boxes for extra protection during shipping. Will primarily use for portable power needs and also as a temporary source during a power outage. Bought a through the wall kit to provide electrical power back up inside my home as well.
