I've put several of these frames together already and I've been very happy with the material and how the pieces fit together. The wood is pretty good quality with no knots or cracks. The joints fit together nice and tight. I glue and nail the joints in a jig and they end up good and square. When I need more I'll be looking for these. ... show more

I bought these in a pinch and regret it. The bees do not seem to like these frames. They barely touch them and will not draw them out. I added wax and I'm keeping fingers crossed. Hopefully they'll draw them out soon. I'd bypass these and look elsewhere. I edited this review and changed it from a 2 star to a 1 star. The frames are fine but the foundations are garbage. New beekeepers don't know how important it is to have foundations that the bees draw out quickly. The bees do not these foundations and just won't touch them and when they finally do the comb is splotchyand irregular (wonky comb). In order to make the bees draw them out you have to add your own wax. After my 2 star rating the seller offered half of my money back but that never happened. Do not buy the foundations ... show more
