I have restless leg syndrome. I struggle with it so bad that it was disturbing my husband's sleep so a year I suggested that I get my own bed. I bought a twin so we could still at least be in the same room. I bought a hybrid because my daughter and son both have them and they say theirs are so comfortable. My husband built me a beautiful bedframe. I tried sleeping on it. But this brand new mattress was not working. So I took every blanket we owned and made a bed on the floor. As soon as I played on the floor my pain from the RLS stopped. I'd sleep on the floor for 4 nights I a row. By day 5 my bones hurt from the hard floor so I'd go back to the hybrid mattress for a few nights. If sleep on the mattress for a few nights and then the RLS would come back so I'd be back on the floor. After almost a year of rotating from between the bed and the floor, I decided to look into floor futon mattresses. I did a lot of research about floor mattress and the health benefits. I look at various stores online but couldn't find any in the style or price range. So then I logged into Amazon. I should have just came here first and I wouldn't have had the shopping headache. While looking at this brand I noticed the queen in gray was the same size as the twin. So of course I bought a queen. I thought I'd it is too thin I could fold it in half and make it twice a thick or when I'm not sleeping on it I could put it on top of my twin mattress and make it look like a futon couch. So what I learned. Folding it in half to make it double thick is too much. Laying on it exactly how it is intended is perfect. I love my new floor mattress It is sooo comfortable. It work great for my RLS and my bad back. So much better than laying out all of our blankets every night and folding them back up every morning. I bought a standard queen bed sheet set to go with this bed. I had to buy a deep pocket fitted she because floor mattress run long. I am so pleased with the stitching and padding. It is very well constructed. Very easy to roll up. My only complaint is the Sherpa side. Sherpa pills up and is a huge garbage collector. So glad this mattress is 2 sided. I bought this item for my newborn. In the eight months of use, the item has been perfect for my baby, myself, my significant other and popo (grandma). I cover the item with a bed sheet and change every week. I wouldn't mind using this item for myself, my bedroom mattress is a cal-king memory foam mattress. I am starting to notice a matting of the fluffy area, but the futon is still soft. The bed is over hardwood floor and rolled out shag carpet. The item is significantly more expensive than a play mat, but I know it's safer than plastic and can be used for a long time and other things. I may plan on using this item as a topper and or complete bed area for my baby. With the shag carpet, the mattress feels like a medium to firm. I am 5'8" and a 180 lbs. ... show more
