I have had this face plate about a week. It works fine but I was disappointed with how fast it rusted. I left it attached to a blank I was working on and it sat overnight.     • Heavy duty faceplate.
I would have given it a 5 star if they let me know it took a special wrench to install and remove it from the lathe. I didn't know that until I got the faceplate. I had to buy it separately and then wait for the delivery to use it.

    • Well made, but ya gotta get a wrench
This faceplate is heavy and well made. However, you need a large wrench to fit the shaft. First time I used it, I had to find my old adjustable wrench cranked out to maximum to get it off. Other than that, it is a quality item.
