Cliff notes review: We got the scooter, my daughter loves it, takes it to school. The throttle body casing cracked and one of the connecting wires detached so it stopped working. It's a relatively simple repair, but not wanting to void the warranty I started the return process. Next day I get the mailing slip so I order another scooter and pack up the first scooter. Next day I get a correspondence from the company asking if I wouldn't mind sending a photo of the issue and they'd send replacement parts, and also save me the return shipping costs. I explained that I'd already ordered a new one with the understanding that since I'd received a mailing slip already that the refund was already assured, BUT if they wanted to cover shipping cost back that'd be AOK with me. The next morning they responded and asked, politely and professionally , that they'd verified my 2nd purchase and would I accept a 65% refund, not have to pay the return shipping (offsetting the other 35%) and keep the 1st scooter for spare parts. Firstly: That's incredibly fair, they have no way to verify that I didn't in fact wreck the scooter. Secondly: I didn't get a computer generated "response", a person at the company addressed the issue promptly and in my opinion fairly. I'm never looking for something for nothing, I like doing honest business with honest brokers and I believe that's what just transpired. My son loves this scooter. He rides to school and back. The charge stays on it. I had a problem at first with the bike. I could not attach the seat to the handle. If you purchase this (DO NOT TAKE THE SCREWS OUT OF THE SEAT) I don’t care what the video states. You will not be able to place the screws back in the correct way!! I promise you. I contacted the seller and they sent me another seat. The problem with that is the seat came damaged. Contacted them again and they sent me another seat. The seat wasn’t the blue color because they ran out but they sent me a black seat which was fine. The seller has excellent customer service!! I recommend this product! UPDATE: The scooter stopped working. I tried to reset, that didn’t work then I tried to see about the battery and that didn’t work. I already recycled the box and customer service gave me a $20 credit. A waste of money. I DO NOT recommend this product. I didn’t even have this for a week without having problems ( 1st the seat) then it not charging. If I could give this product NO stars I would. ... show more

This was labeled for a child up to 12 years old and 155lbs. I am a middle aged adult, 5'0", and weigh about 127lbs. This works for me, and feels stable and sturdy. I would buy it all over again.

The scooter was easy to assemble and worked well. Speed was good. After two weeks, it stopped working. Battery is fully charged, red light illuminates when switched on, nothing happens when trying to use it. My 9 year old also cut her ankle pretty good on the shiny tail end of the scooter that sticks out in the back when she was pushing it back home through the grass after it stopped working in the street. Terrible experience. Now that I'm 9 days past the Amazon return date, I have to try to contact the manufacturer. I deeply regret this purchase. UPDATE: I can now adjust my original review! I was dreading trying to contact the manufacturer, but it was easy. I chatted with Mandy and I was instructed to do a little troubleshooting, but I was too busy and out of town. While I was taking long to respond, Mandy actually found this review and figured out that it was me. This review in itself answered a lot of her questions and she was able to get a replacement scooter sent to me free of charge! I went back and played with the first one when I got back home and i believe it's an issue with the brake shutoff. If I wiggle the brake a little, it tries to go for just a moment then stops then I have to keep trying to wiggle it until eventually it moves for just a second and stops again. Nothing else i can do with that. Mandy was a pleasure to deal with and she was very supportive and my daughter is very happy with the replacement scooter. I dont expect every product to always be perfect because that's the definition of a defect right? It happens. When it does, it's great customer service that makes up for it. Thank you Mandy. Changing my review from 1 star to 4 stars! I cant put 5 because the shiny tail end of the scooter is still a safety concern. Other than that, Thanks Mandy! ... show more

This is an excellent electric scooter for the price! I purchased one for my son for Christmas in 2020 when he was 5yrs old. When better weather came around we tried to get him to ride it but he wasn't fond of it because he wasn't used to it and was afraid to fall. It sat in the shed until fall of 2021 when all of a sudden he decided to jump on it and take off. He loved it!! All his friends in the neighborhood loved it as well and unfortunately they were kind of rough with the scooter. It stood up to the abuse well but shortly thereafter a few important bolts fell off of it somewhere outside while the kids were riding it which rendered it unable to be used. I reached out to customer service for MAXTRA and they swiftly took care of my need and then some! We are COMPLETELY satisfied with this scooter. ... show more
