I used this to record my self speaking a few times in ministry. Occasionally, I can very soft spoken or I can be very load and authoritative. This mic caught it all when I was loud or not! One thing to not is it cancelled most of the background noise including the extra added room sounds like the A/C and or doors opening/closing! The media could not be loaded. I would not say these are the best / studio quality style microphones on the market. I record reviews of running related products as a hobby and the pricepoint was in my range, the quality suits my needs. Sound quality: 4 of 5 I put the phone about 6 feet away i(n the next room.) The attached video is the recording using the microphone. (Please pardon the scratch while I attached the microphone to my shirt) I feel the quality is good. It sounds like I am in front of the phone. Ease of wireless connection: 5 of 5. Plug the adapter into the phone and the microphone connected automatically Ease of physical connection: 4 of 5. For this review I was using Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ with Otterbox symmetry series. The USB-C adapter fit in the phone without needing to remove the case. The transponder is lightening (apple). When inserted in the adapter, it does not sit flush. Battery life: 4 of 5 At the time of writing this the Battery seems to last for several recordings. I will comment back with the full duration or any issue, but I am satisfied. Case. 3 of 5 The case has indicator lights to show remaining battery life. Based off how the lights appear, the indicator is for remaining life in the microphone. I would have rated a 4 if there was a way to store / secure the USB-C adapter in the case. ... show more

Easy set up and great sound quality for the price. I want to step up my vlogs and don’t want the sound connection to be an issue for viewers. If you’re wanting to try mini mics out without breaking the bank give these a try. All you need to do is plug in the receiver then they will connect. The only thing I wish were for it to allow you to listen to the audio with the receiver in your phone vs having to take it out to listen. The media could not be loaded. I did a comparison with three different microphones, my phone, this mic and a lavalier mic. Check out my video to hear the audio differences. Kind of disappointed I probably won't use this mic at all, the quality is just too grainy and even though it can be cleaned up I'd rather have clean audio in the first place. ... show more

the only big issue i had with these is the adaptor that lets you use the Ctype port is increadably tight i had to really work to get it on and off of the lightning plug and you have to make sure the mic goes back into the charge case jus right so that it's charging otherwise you can get it in what appears more fully but the charger will not work. overall the sound and distance and use was all great would of probably kept them but i didn't notice the battery light was so low i need a 7 hour minimum. ... show more

1. Can't recharge the mics! (either manually with a cable, or using the case) 2. Contact points on the mics are cheap and poorly designed. Within 5 inserts and removals, the contact points are damaged. Avoid at all costs for the design flaw.

If you like doing interviews using your phone, the biggest problem is you usually only have a single microphone so you have to pass it back and forth between interviewer and interviewee.
