Bought for my 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Product is well designed and seems pretty durable (frame is solid even though cover is vinyl). Took about 30 mins from start to finish install.. Fits well and had hardware included for my existing bed rails. Will protect bed from weather and allow me to lock items in; however, if someone really wanted in they could easily cut through the vinyl. Good product for the price. First, for the price ($199) this is an excellent cover (the roll up one I bought 15+ years ago cost more than that and it was of a lower quality). I bought it to put over the bed of my 2010 Tacoma while we traveled on vacation from Texas to Florida to keep dirt and water off our luggage and other gear. It looks nice and held up well at highway speeds for over 2000 miles. I figured that was a good enough test. I only have three complaints. 1) The toggle bolts in the back near the rear window are very long and can snag things in the bed. I will probably use a hacksaw to cut them down. I also could not get them to be perfectly straight, they only seem to attach at an angle. Not a huge deal but it would be nice if it fit a little better. 2) There is a gap between the cover and the top of the bed underneath the window. A self sticking foam gasket was included but it is not quite thick enough to keep out all the water (we rain into rain on the way back and a little water, about a cup or so, was in the bed). I may invest in something thicker if needed. 3) The latches near the tailgate do not fold in the same way. One folds forward and the other folds back. You have to be careful when folding it up not to poke a hole in the cover with the one handle that folds back. While installation was not difficult, lining it up perfectly straight on the bed was harder than I thought it would be so I enlisted my wife to assist. ... show more

This cover is great. It seems to be made of good material and sturdy. This even comes with brackets to hold down the cover if you have the tie down brackets. The cover slides the backets in the bed race for easy installation

    • Solid, affordable, simple cover

Fits my 2012 access cab Tacoma well. Included is some extra hardware that allowed it to better attach to the bed rails, which was good. Also included are some rubber pads to help seal the tailgate, but I wasn't worried too much about that. Besides, the cover does leave some gapping in the front near the cab (maybe a half inch or so if I remember correctly) so I wasn't too worried about it being completely water tight. Its good enough for my purposes (keeping debris and loose objects in) and I haven't been out in much rain enough to know how well it does with water. Installation is pretty easy. Best case scenario you hand turn some screw fittings in 4 places and your done. I needed to make some adjustments to move the fittings for the bed rails so I needed a screwdriver for that and an allen wrench to fasten the hooks for the bed rails. I feel confident that I can easily remove and re-install now with relative ease and without tools (leaving the rail hooks in place). I personally had a shipping problem, but the seller's customer service responded promptly and amicably, making me a happy customer. ... show more

After waiting with trepidation, fearing that the Tonneau Cover would be low quality, it was pleasantly surprising to discover a well-made, easily assembled piece of equipment. It could have been installed by one person but was easy with two. All four of the latches needed to be moved one place outward, easily accomplished with a Phillips screwdriver (but watch out for the very small nuts). Reinserting the nuts was easily done by holding with pliers and inserting into the molded nut openings. It looks beautiful and has proven to be waterproof in a very harsh New England storm. 10-05-2016 Addendum: Recently, I accidentally left the tie-down straps unsnapped when the cover was open. While driving at about 40mph, I suddenly heard and saw the cover rapidly unfold and fly off the truck, landing in the lane behind me. Was able to recover it before it was run over and the only damage required restitching three inches of torn open seam. The cover broke loose when the front clamps, pulled by the sudden unfolding, slipped off the aluminum brackets locked in the truck rail with the hex nut. It became evident that the clamp would actually fit directly in the rail so I removed the provided aluminum bracket (both sides on front). Removed the tightening handle, inserted five (5) 1/4" washers as spacers and replaced the handle, mounted the cover, inserted the clamp into the Toyota Rail (left & right) and tightened securely. Hopefully I will never forget to clamp the tie-downs again, but if it happens, at least the cover will remain with the truck. By the way, removing and reassembling the cover was easy as can be. ... show more
