Once I scrunched out the cast, I was left with soft definition and no crunch at all. While I don't find it moisturizing at all and it has little to no slip, my hair doesn't look or feel bad at all. This gel is AMAZING! Natural product and affordable price that actually does what it promises. Soft curls (after crunching them out) for days. Using just a small amount delivers great results and your hair wont be feeling sticky or weighted. This manufacturer has good natural products at reasonable prices. I have curly hair sone days and some days it's wave only. Thus gel and smoother is definitely for VERY curly hair. It does smooth but most products like this, your can double it as a smoother, a texturizer, a gel, a gloss a styling aid... but this is not good for much but smoothing. I love this brands products on my hair but sadly this wasn't great! May be great for many others but not me! ... show more

This stuff is fantastic. Does everything it says it will do: Nice wavy hair...elongated curls...moisturizing. I came here to buy another bottle and NO ONE wants to sell it for less than eighteen dollars! That is almost 300 % percent more than what I paid for it 1.5 years ago at 6.75!!
