I wouldn't have survived the last 2 months of pregnancy without this. It was super basic but it worked. It helped me feel secure and held up. The downside was it would velcro to some of my clothes, like sweaters so, be careful. I started experiencing a lot of lower abdominal and inner thigh pain (I'm in my 3rd trimester), and after a couple of days dealing with that I found this belly band and got it. I love that even though it's not an $80 band like some recommended online, it still amply gets the job done! The extra support has been wonderful, and my pain has greatly decreased. I don't sleep with it on, but I have been wearing it every day. I'm a petite person carrying a small baby, and the one-size still works fine for me. After a sudden hysterectomy, I woke up in the hospital with a volunteer sewn pillow at my bedside. The nurse insisted I take it home, stating that the firm little 5"x12" thing would be helpful to apply pressure to my lower abdomen when getting up or down during recovery. After the first 5 days of carrying this it around the house with me, I started to wonder if there couldn't be a better way to go about this, and finally remembered that when I had my son many moons ago, I wore a belly band. My hunt began. I needed a plus size belly band with great reviews, and if any of the reviews happened to mention a positive experience post-hysterectomy, then I was sold. And I found this one! It is so great. I will say, listen to everyone. Wear it over your pajama pants/ leggings/ or for me, a couple pair of bicycle shorts I had shrunk out of and never thrown away. I did order a plus size band, but I am a size 16 in jeans at Lane Bryant & Torrid. The plus size band wrapped all the way around me. It is as tight as I can make it. I definitely could have purchased the regular size. It is difficult to get on with all the extra wrap going around both sides. But I would still purchase again. Very comfortable. Highly breathable.
