I purchased this comforter due to several reviews stating that it didn't get too hot... probably a personal issue but I burn up in this thing if it's over 50 degrees outside. It's a really great comforter for the price and would be good for someone who's not a hot sleeper in Texas. We'll definitely use it just for the sake of making the bed and during cold winter months. I needed to use this as a duvet, with a very thin duvet cover (basically a sheet). I thought that adding this + super thin duvet cover = comforter, but I was wrong. This is very warm and great for cold rooms and cold winters, not a 55 degree Texas winter. I have since stored it in my closet and bought a middle layer for my bed because I sweated more than hot yoga with this product, and I'd have to sleep in a 30 degree room for this to feel comfortable. ... show more
