  • Great Sound Quality, Comfort, and Premium-Ness ...(is that a word?)
I have used these headphones for quite a while now, and have nothing but positive things to report. I ordered and received the tan leather / silver color combination and ohhhhhh boy, let me tell you. It's sexy. The colors match my silver MacBook and tan leather sleeve, so I get many compliments regarding my color coordination skills. The feel of the headphones are premium, and these are one of the few headphones in my whole life I can wear an extended period of time without discomfort. For a recent real-world example, I wore these headphones for the entirety of a direct flight from Los Angeles to Manila (that's like a 16 hour flight nonstop haha 🥴 ... but also had no charging plugs??? What in the world Philippines Airlines, what is this 2008???). I managed to fall asleep comfortably while listening to our quirky queen Taylor Swift on shuffle with these bad boys on, and never felt the need to remove them. They caress and envelop your ears like a supple soft silky scarf on a brisk autumn day, metaphorically speaking. I love the flexibility in usability these headphones provide. You can use them wirelessly with bluetooth or plug them directly into your device when you forget to charge them, which does wonders to enable my only character flaw of never recharging my accessory devices. The ability to activate or deactivate noise cancellation both in bluetooth and tethered modes, which did a tremendous job blocking out the myriad of baby cries and elderly coughs on the aforementioned air voyage, is extremely convenient and deeply, deeply appreciated. The buttons also feel good so that's nice. Yeah, only real area of improvement I can think of / wish for, which I'm not sure how it would be possible to implement given the limitations of our physical world without compromising build quality, is a smaller footprint for the included case and collapsable headphone design... but idk I just like listening to music and these are really good at letting you do that. Also, I used them to play the new God of War video game, and let me tell you that was an absolute experience and a half with these puppies cranked up. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Amazing Audio Quality For Wireless Heaphones
I was able to test a prototype of the Beyerdynamic Amiron wireless headphones at CES a few years ago. I was amazed the sound quality was so good from a wireless pair of headphones. I bought them as soon as they became available and in my opinion they were the best sounding wireless headphones on the market.....until now. The Master & Dynamic MW75's edge out the Amiron on both detail and soundstage. They are the best sounding wireless headphones I have ever heard. As many headphones companies continue to put out bland monochrome headphone designs (Sony, Bose, and sadly now even Sennheiser) the MW75's both look and feel like a premium product. They are a bit bulky but they do not feel large or heavy while wearing them. The weight is distributed nicely and they are very comfortable for even the longest listening sessions. The only complaint I have with these is that the carrying case is less than travel friendly. It is quite large and bulky. If you plan to carry these around or travel with them I'd recommend getting the below case: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09YN9V9BH?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details The price point may be a complaint for some as well, but when the Amiron wireless were first released they were a full $100 more than these. If you want top of class sound I do not think this is an unreasonable price. Sure, there are lots of good options in the $300-$400 price range but if audio quality is your highest priority than these are the wireless headphones for you. ... show more

  • Wonderful Sound, But Bulky
Let’s begin with the most important thing here and that is that these headphones sound fantastic! Very possibly the best sounding wireless headphones I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a lot of them from Bowers & Wilkins PX8, Bang & Olufsen H95, Sennheiser Momentum 3 and 4, Sony WH1000-XM5 and more! I have a bit of an obsession with headphones, I guess! Now, having said that I do have issues, naturally. First is that these are big headphones and they have an even larger and bulkier case to hold them in. Around 4 inches at the thickest part of the case. The headphones do not sit flat in the case but rather at an angle which is why the case sticks up so much on the bottom end. I guess because when laid flat they spread out and the case would then be wider like the hatbox the Shure Aonic 50 headphones came in (yes i tried those too, a while back). Also the ear-cups are oddly large on the outside yet the interior part is relatively small as other reviewers have noted and this could be a problem for some as they sit on the ears a bit depending on your ears and how small or large they are. I have not had too much of an issue there as I still find them mostly comfortable, but the large size looks a bit goofy to me, at least on my head…and as others have also stated the headphones have a kind of loose fit so when you bend over they do feel as if they will fall off of your head, but so far this has not actually happened to me. I do feel a little silly wearing them in public just due to the size of the ear-cups, but the sound is so good I almost can overlook this fact, for the most part. My biggest issue is with the battery, at first it didn’t seem to charge properly, even at fully charged it would only register at about 88% and would drop quickly. Once they lost about 25% when the headphones were off and not even in use! But now the battery seems to have leveled out a bit, but I don’t think it will last anywhere near the 28 hours with ANC on described by M & D (but I admit I have it considerably louder than 50% volume as well, so that’s probably part of it). When I am not wearing them I love the look of them, the silver aluminum and Navy leather are an awesome combo, and the tempered glass on the ear-cups looks sharp (although a dark color like black or gun metal would no doubt show off finger prints more. On silver its not an issue. Oh, but the sound! I must say, I have loved the Bowers & Wilkins PX8 as well as the Px7s2, but these make those sound…I guess less impressive to me, by direct comparison. These have such a dynamic and spacious soundstage that I really love, everything I listen to so far has just blown me away on these! I’m constantly raving to myself “wow, that sounds so cool!” So if sound, and decent noise canceling are priorities for you then I would most definitely recommend these headphones, especially if you see them on sale! (And i don’t find them uncomfortable at all, the cushions are soft and supple with adequate padding for long listening sessions, at least for my ears. Oh and get the app for updates and so you can set the ANC and ambient sound levels, as the button on the left ear-cup only toggles between these settings. The preset EQ is useless to me but that’s fine as the natural sound of these is so good, no adjustment is necessary. Also, the physical buttons work great and the multi-function button is raised a bit so it is super easy to find by feel! The left cup holds the ANC and power button, I like that the power button is just a simple press, however you have to be careful not to hit it by accident or it will turn off your headphones accidentally Buy them and sit back and enjoy! Oh one last quibble is that the LED light for power stays on the whole time power is on, I prefer it go off like most of the other high quality headphones I have do. Actually all of the others shut off the light when in use. Maybe they can fix in an update. It’s a really minor quibble at that. They just sound so good that I don’t care about the little quibbles! Currently listening to Radiohead’s “Creep”. Sounds so awesome on these! I forgot to mention the wear sensors work perfectly for me although it is arbitrary and weird that once you take them off you have to put them back on within 3 seconds for playback to resume automatically, otherwise you have to hit the play/multi-function button to continue playback. ... show more
