Easy Operation: 1. Rotate the nozzle head, and open the steamer. And then fill the tank with cold water to the desired level(not exceed the maximum level line). When you finish filling, lock the head back on. 2. Turn the ON/OFF switch to the ON position. The switch light indicates the steamer is on. The steamer will emit steam from nozzle in 2 minutes. 3. After about 10 minutes of continuous steaming, or the steamer runs out of the water, it will reset automatically to ensure your safety while leaving the indicator light ON. 4. When you are finished with your steaming session place the ON/OFF switch in the OFF position and remove the plug from the outlet. Notes: 1. Only fill the tank with cold water, do not use hot water. Distilled water is recommended. 2. Never turn the unit upside down. Your Travel Garment Steamer should never be tilted past a 45degree angle especially when the unit is ON. I absolutely HATE ironing so I won't buy anything that has to be ironed - wash/dry/wear ONLY! That is until I bought a top on Amazon and didn't notice it was made of linen! So of course it arrived with a gabillion wrinkles, but the top was nice and fit well so I thought I would buy a steamer and see how that worked. It worked ok, but didn't smooth it out completely. As you can see in the pics there are streaky lines all over the blouse, and I went over it three times (or is it supposed to look like that?). I think the steamer would work on just about anything, except linen. And the little mitten you get, GARBAGE, throw it out!! Used it three times, each time pulling the steamer further and further away from the blouse/mitten and all three times it instantly burnt my hand like I wasn't wearing the mitten at all!! They should remove that thing - I smell a law suit! ... show more

Do not buy. First of all, I had to force the two plastic sides together to screw the top on. And I guess it “technically” got some wrinkles out because it made the whole garment wet, but it made the whole garment wet. And yes I was holding it at the right angle.
