I bought this to give pen style machines an honest go without spending Bishop power wand or Critical money. I was delightfully surprised at how well its handled all the different types of pieces I've thrown at it since I've had it. I've used everything from a 3rl bugpin to a 14rl medium taper and 23 curved mags and have never had to run it passed 7.5 volts. One battery lasted me 6 hours before I had to switch it out for a freshly charged one and they recharge pretty quick for how long they last. I think it was about an hour, hour and a half to recharge from one bar. This is definitely my new daily driver at the shop. Light enough to avoid wrist fatigue and the grip is chooonky so Ive had zero hand cramps either. I've seen folks say it lines slow with anything bigger than a 9rl and that just hasn't been my experience. It ran the 14rl at 7.5 volts on the 4.2 stroke at a solid pace with no doubling back on the lines. It also didn't even get warm. The adjustable stroke has been awesome as well since you can switch it mid tattoo with no issues. I Have done fine line floral, thiiiic american trad, even a black and grey realistic eyeball on a knee cap with zero issues. It whips like a champ at 3.3 and above and gives super soft powder shading from 3.0 down. If you're wanting to give pen machines a try, definitely consider snagging this up if you're on the fence about them. Will be buying again when needed. This is not only a quiet tattoo gun, but it’s also efficient works very well! My husband has just started tattooing recently dappling around and this gun was better than the other one we had! Worked so well for my tattoo he did!

I have 3 other Amazon machines…all have died within 6 months, with almost daily usage. So far this one is still going strong. No noises, no slowdowns, no charging problems! Super solid, super smooth. I run it between 5-7 volts at 3.3mm to 4.5mm stroke depending on what I’m doing, and it’s handles everything smoother than my cheyennes. It’s also incredibly quiet, and the lightest wireless machine I own! Huge deal for me for long 8+ hour sessions!! Also, I haven’t needed to change the batteries mid-session yet, and I’ve gone 8 hours straight with this thing. This machine even handled that practice skin, which is more resistant than regular skin. No overheating, and about 3 months of regular usage! I bought this machine 2 months ago Amazon advised me to reach out to mast tattoo machine to see if they could help since the batteries both stopped charging and give an error code. The problem is if you have any issues you cannot get help. The phone number doesn't work for mast tattoo machines their email is fake you will just get a rejection back and their address is listed in California but if you look it up it only shows a storage place. Amazon said the products show shipped from China so it is a total scam if you get a faulty machine!! Good luck in your decision! If it is past 30 days even though Amazon is not checking to make sure items or websites are reputable you will not get money back ... show more

I’ve been a professional tattooist for 19 years. This machine is perfect for the price. It’s actually way better. The throw adjustment helps with power lines and helps shift for peppery shading to smooth saturation. It pushes curved mags and heavy round liners with ease. This machine is under rated. I use a Cheyenne Hawk, an FK Bolt, and this machine applies like both. If you know anything about how a machine is suppose to apply and feel on contact of use, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to how this functions. I’ve used it for a month and had no problems. I’ll probably buy another one for my apprentice because it’s such a smooth and high functioning machine with a solid punch. The battery will need recharging with in 3 hours of your running above 8.2 ( which I don’t suggest running that speed anyway).
