I'm practicing to be a tattoo artist and I finished a tattoo i started years ago with a cheaper machine. This machine is quite and smooth . Just watch a couple videos to help you understand. Fake skin does it no justice to tattooing real live skin .

I use these machines for all my apprentices. It’s a great machine that’s not expensive at all. It’s a little heavy but not overly. You can adjust stroke length on this as well which is great, a lot of machines don’t offer that.

The media could not be loaded. This set comes with everything you need once you’ve gotten past the beginner phase of learning how to tattoo. There is a limited supply of consumable accessories, as once you get to the point where you’re ready for higher-end tools, you probably have a surplus of the consumables. Also, it comes with 2 external power supplies AND has a rotary option for expanded usage time, plus an interchangeable grip for added comfort. I'm just in the beginning phases of learning how to tattoo, and I've tried many different kits now. This kit includes everything you need, including 20 cartridges. However, the cartridges are all 05 RL/RS, so it's basically smaller shading or lining-only unless you have other cartridges. The on/off, depth adjustments, and speed fine-tuning were fairly easy and self-explanatory. The gun is more involved than others I’ve had, with more adjustment features for different usage modes and has a very sensitive adjustable needle depth, which really helps when you're still trying to master how far to hold the gun to get the right skin depth (1-2 mm). It’s a thicker, ergonomic pen with dual grips available, which is much easier to grip and maneuver if you have larger hands. The included practice skin also helps get a feel for the way the machine works as compared to others. Also, who doesn’t love stickers and wristbands? The included pre-made stencils come in handy as well. I still don't feel confident working on actual skin, so I'm still just practicing with skins (included) and intermittently shading in some decades-old scars from an old accident to try it out on actual skin. The included ink is a deep, rich black and holds in the practice skin well. The included gloves provided a nice germ barrier after I'd sterilized all required skin areas. This machine was easy to grip and allows for steady handling and an even and consistent depth, and the needle didn't hurt any more than professional tattoos. The ink was deposited evenly over the scar tissue area and is healing evenly. The skin trauma was no worse than any of the professional tattoos I've ever gotten, and the healing went by without a hitch, though it was itchier than normal as expected due to the tattoo being done over a keloid scar. Overall, this is a very user-friendly kit for someone in the intermediate phases of learning tattooing and is an excellent value for the money.
