Hits hard. Will need at least 3000 Watts rms. Will need a large box or you'll choke it. If you like deep bass and on a budget this subwoofer is the one. I have a 280 amp alternator, 2 kinetic hc 2000 batteries and at idle the voltage drop is less than a volt even while sub is pounding. Sub itself is like 60 pounds with box like 85. It sounded really good but 6 months into it the foam around started to crack like a dummy I didn't get the warranty and threw away the manufacturer warranty paper before registering make sure you register it as soon as you get it also get the warranty if you're going to buy this one

I bought this 12 inch 6000watts massive audio subwoofer and for the time it started playing it been making a popping noise I will not buy any more from you all am sorry I normally buy my subwoofer from Amazon but I will b buying from ebay from now on 😞
