I've only used it twice, and my thick/coarse hair likes it alot. I have tried some very expensive shampoos all the way down to drugstore brands and this is THE BEST so far. My hair (though short) can have many bad hair days and this shampoo was an instant hit for me. Very manageable even without conditioner. If you want to conserve your color (mine is ash blonde over the brassy golden shade) and not see those brassy/yellow tones come through, I recommend this. So far so good. My stylist suggested this brand for my graying hair. While it does a nice job of gently cleaning my hair, there are other brands I've tried that do more to enhance the silver and tone down brassiness.

Initial impression was that it looked like a nice bottle. Nice violet pigment. Smelt okay when I opened it up. After rubbing it into my hair I thought one of my dogs broke wind as they follow me into the bathroom. Dogs were not there, I smelt my hand and up close it smelt fine but as I would pull my hand away and would get the smell that radiated off my scalp from this soap, it literally smelt like someone was holding in something real bad and ripped one right on my head.
