  • It worked fine for me! Read for some tips!
——Before reading, please consider that my hair is thick and I also have a good amount of it, so I had no problem, I don’t know how this product would work if you have a fine hair, this comment is based on my own experience.— I’ve purchased my tape in extensions(about 150g of hair) here on Amazon(I don’t remember the brand rn), had it on for about a month but decided to take them off. So I started to look for a product to do so, and saw this one, when I bought it I was in a hurry, so I quickly went to the comments section and I saw good reviews, decided to buy it. When I got the product, I went to the comments section again to see what I should do/be aware of before using this product, and I found a LOT of bad reviews, which made me afraid to use it but I really wanted to take my extensions off, so I went for it(I’ve also watched videos on YouTube to be prepared), and this is what happened: I used the step 1, it’s really oily, so it helps them to come off easily but it smells really bad, because of the percentage of alcohol, which I was aware. All though, it worked just fine for me, I took my time, went thru every tape, one by one, carefully removing from my real hair, and every time I held my roots and then started to pull them off, it was painless and took about 50 minutes. Step 2: also very oily, but once again, it helps to take the glue out of your hair. I divided my hair in sections, sprayed the product(step 2) and used a comb to brush it, and this is the part that you have to be careful (at least from my experience), the glue is going to stick with your hair, so don’t brush too hard, be gentle and patience, otherwise you will unnecessarily lose few strands of hair. After I finished I noticed that I lost some amount of hair but I have to say, naturally we all lose strands of hair, everyday, and because you have the extensions attached to your hair for months or so, of course there will be some that are not really attached on your head, they were there because of the glue, so NOT ALL THE HAIR THAT FALLS are going to be the product’s fault, and that’s what I saw a lot of people complaining about on the comments, but yet I do agree that the whole process will make some hair fall off. Anyways, after that, I continued brushing my hair for 5 minutes, and let it sit for at least 10 more min, just to make sure it was going to work. Step 3: I used my Neutrogena anti residue Shampoo, applied my everyday shampoo and then the conditioner. The results were pretty good, no glue, no damage, nothing. But once again, that was my experience, I don’t know how it would work in someone else’s hair. ... show more

  • LOVE THIS PRODUCT
For being an alcohol based remover I was nervous about the damage it could do to my hair but i was extremely surprised that it in fact did not. It made removal of my tape ins very easy and it did a really good job at removing all the access glue that is normally left on my hair. 10/10 recommend for those who use tape ins ... show more

  • It works and it’s not oily!
I use tape in extensions and have tried many remover‘s that were oily and barely worked. This is an amazing set because it actually works. For anyone who is trying to remove their own tape-ins outside of the salon, here is how to remove residual tape, knots bunched up with tape and tape-ins in general WHILE minimizing and preserving your actual hair and not yanking it out in the process: First, isolate the tape-in you want to move, use hair clips to get your other hair out of the way. I generously spray Step 1 on the tape-in weft, then with my finger nails, I dig into the middle of the two wefts and pull apart gently. I hold onto my actual hair at the root and yank off each individual weft sliding it downwards. There will be residual tape or even knots after this depending on how long you’ve had the tape-ins in. Next, I will spray Step 2 on the knotted area. Step 2 will act as a lubricant to do what I’m about to explain next. Side note: obviously it’s hard to just use a brush and comb down on this knot—you’re not gonna get anywhere doing that so don’t even try. Instead, begin to pull out INDIVIDUAL hairs from the root, working your way from the very side area of the knotted hair bunch, and keep working until you pull out all of the hairs and then soon it’ll just be a knot that you can drag out. Don’t be super concerned with how much hair is in the knot, because sometimes that is sometimes from the actual tape-in extension, itself. Again, step 2 should minimize the pain and damage to your actual hair because it will act like a lubricant allowing you to pull out the strands. I like to put on a TV show and take my time doing this! Let me know how and if this works for you ig: laris.brutskiy ... show more

  • Does what it’s supposed to
The step 1 is great, works well & no weird smell! Step 2 works, but smells like mothballs

  • Quickly removes tape in extensions and residue
I have tried many methods of removing extensions. This product works great. First you spray the bond release to detach the tape then use the residue remover to remove the rest of the tape in your hair. I like to use several sprays of both to really saturate the tape and avoid pulling of the hair. Easy to waste the products out after removing. Definitely use in a ventilated space. The smell can get strong while doing a whole head of hair. I have actually also used this product to remove sticker reside and it works fantastic! ... show more

  • BIG KIZZY = BIG MISTAKE... Not professional products!
***Tape-in Extension Remover: Too good to be true – While it loosens tapes quickly, the 'wetting agent' seems to be glycerin or something similar, which can actually destroy your tapes. It’s way too slippery, and it made the tapes come apart from the extension hair. I went back to using small drops of rubbing alcohol, which safely removes the tape without causing damage or ruining them - and it's CHEAP! ***Residue Remover: It works, but the smell is absolutely awful and incredibly strong! It reeks of a mix between gasoline and cheap perfume, and the scent is so overpowering it gave me a headache immediately. I also tried their tapes, which were gummy, and they started falling out after just one week! I normally use professional tape extensions from my stylist, specifically the Bellami brand, which are fantastic and last a full 8 weeks before needing a touch-up. I decided to try Big Kizzy tapes as a backup option to add a few extra pieces at home – BIG MISTAKE, these are not professional tapes. Overall, I’m incredibly disappointed with these products. My only regret is not trying them sooner, so I could have returned them within the 30-day window. I won't be making that mistake again! ... show more
