I have bought two of these little guys in the past year and not because it stopped working. The first one I bought worked so well (I ended up giving it to someone) I got another one to be shipped across the country so my buddy and I could take it camping with us. Can it sustain constant appliance usage like a hot plate? Not unless you’re able to recharge it often. I’m curious to try out the solar panel attachment for this purpose. It has a few different input options (regular outlet plugin, USB, C port). We use this for non electric camp sites and it’ll get us through about 4 days of recharging camera batteries, 2 uses of an air pump, 1 speaker, and 2 phones. Keep in mind not every device is constantly plugged in, so there’s lots of time in those 4 days where it’s not being used. It also has a great light for night time use. You can charge it in the car; doesn’t take long to recharge (an hour maybe?). Eventually I’ll get one that I’ll keep for myself. My only worry was that it got a little too hot during the day, so we switched to night charging instead. ... show more

This small generator worked great. The size is perfect for traveling. Only down fall is the power lifespan. It does provide a few hours, but if you’re a pumping mama like me (main reason why I purchased a small portable generator) and if the power goes out for almost all day it would probably die on you sooner than you hope. ... show more

It got stolen in December 2022. I had dropped it often on a cement floor which may be who the bars showing charge level no longer worked. It always seemed to work for an astoundingly long time both in hours of light and time until recharging. I live off the grid on solar panels and kept this needle after dark as easier and better light than finding a light switch. Looks good, but it doesn't charge. When initially plugging in solar panel the generator blinks as it was charging but after hours the battery level is lower than when first hooked up.
