So it's a good little device. Some things I'd love to see in a future Maono product if even at a more premium price. -I love that it has programmable buttons it's a nice quality of life for the price. However the buttons are extremely squishy and sometimes hard to actuate. -I'd also love to see an option to use the same sound pad buttons for several sound effects maybe a button array that switches between sound pads to store more of them. -You can't turn off the reverb on this device you can lower it significantly but it does not turn off I'd like to see that in the future. -More knobs for vocal option changes. I believe some of your devices offer this option but I think more control in general is a good thing and will prove to benefit you in the long run. If I can sound like a robot it's even more fun. -Finally the autotune is set to key instead of being the normal audio effect we're used to. This is fine for music creators but content creators that aren't as musically inclined such as those that do podcast and streaming not in line with music may have a harder time using it. For this device: Pros: -Writable custom buttons. -several mixing options and voice effects. -large sliders to control microphone volume -quick swap between effects and normal sound -denoise feature (If you want it though it dampens your voice) -Music only mode Cons: -Buttons are squishy making them a little hard to actuate -Reverb cannot be turned off. -auto-tune set for musical key. ... show more

I searched for about a month for a suitable “podcast” setup. I don’t podcast, but WFH requires a reliable mic and this new PC doesn’t have it. I settled on this in large part because it had great reviews, but also, it was a bundle, so I only had to make this one purchase. Setup was simple enough, and after messing with it, it’s been great. However, the description states it can connect via USB-C. This isn’t exactly accurate. Yes, the USB connectors ARE USB-C, but you aren’t going to interface with your PC in that fashion. Try as I might, I could only get my Win11 system to recognize the microphone if I used a USC-C to USB-A cable. USB-C to USB-C would not work. Yes, Windows chimed at me that a USB device was connected, but that’s it. It never was recognized. It never showed up in Device Manager. Oh well. I settled on USB-A and contacted Maono. They were responsive and friendly, though it was over email. After troubleshooting failed, they admitted there was an issue and would work on it. A week later, I received a firmware update. JOY! Er, no, at least the device shows up in device manager, but still doesn’t work over USB-C to USB-C. Other than that, it works great, just like in the description. All Windows apps recognize and work with it. It’s included XLR microphone is awesome. It works with my iPad over USB-C no less! I only have one XLR mic, but it has room for a 2nd, or a condenser. Why XLR? Because my home office is down the hall from the bathroom/lavoratory and my son thinks it’s FUNNY to wait until I’m in a meeting and then runs in, leaves the door open, then flushes, and runs off laughing! Condensers pick up that noise, this XLR mic does not. HA! Last laugh! I don’t use the BT connection, so no clue about that. The included boom arm is nothing special. It works, stays put, keeps the microphone steady. It’s anold reliable design. I’ll probably replace it with a neat looking arm that has LED’s or something, but this totally does the job. ... show more
