The media could not be loaded. I read lots of reviews before I purchase anything and sometimes I get discouraged when I read the 1-star reviews. But, you have to understand perhaps not everything comes out of the factory perfect or some people just can't DIY and get motivated to give something a bad review when they get upset. But upon closer inspection, I noticed that the fabric was jacquard, which was a pleasant surprise. The pattern is very vibrant and beautiful. It’s slightly bulky at the top for me because I need an outside mount in order to be able to open the door. I bet an inside mount would be really nice looking. But it darkens our MBR well. 45 seconds to raise and lower and it’s quiet. Can be lowered to preset length or paused anywhere in between. I was reluctant to buy when I saw another review of the blind lowering down crooked. But glad I did order it. Now let’s see how long the batteries last. It has 6 AA batteries. The instructions say you have to take the blind off of there wall to install the new batteries, but I disagree you can literally with them out of the top rail, there is a removable, cover and replace the batteries easily without taking it off the wall. ... show more

I’ve purchased quiet a few of these, however, a week after setting it up through the Tuya app, one of the blinds stopped responding to all/any automation. It only works with the remote and that’s not what I wanted. I’ve removed and reinstalled it a million times and it’s doing what it’s supposed to do to pair but it won’t work. Apparently replacements are not an option, only returns, which is very inconvenient for the customer…. Now I’m concerned about the others I’ve purchased. Will those stop working, too?? ... show more

    • Good blinds but REQUIRES smart hub
Overall I'm happy with these blinds. They're easy to set up, they're lightweight, the motor is relatively quiet, and they open and close smoothly. But, I do think the manufacturer and seller need to be more clear that this requires a smart home hub. I am currently using Google Assistant and running Home Assistant on a home server to handle smart home devices. In the middle of setting these up I got more suspicious that these wouldn't automatically connect to a service like Google assistant. Once I was finished, I realized that was the case and had to read through a lot of literature that came with the blinds to finally find out that it requires a smart home hub like Tuya or Zigbee. So I had to go and buy a separate item for these to work with my smart home setup. The blinds do say that they work with Amazon alexa, but I do not have an Amazon alexa, so I cannot say for certain if you need to buy anything separate for the blinds to work with that. Overall, I wish these blinds could be operated without a hub and could connect to Google assistant on their own. Once I get the hub and connect them to that, I'll be happy. ... show more

For the sizes I needed these were over half the cost from other places. I was unsure about buying them but I’m glad I did. They look good and are easy to remove to get to the battery.
