The spools are much smaller. It's not the regular size spools. What I was most frustrated and dissatisfied with was the POOR quality. These threads break so easily that it made it impossible to sew. I returned them!

I ordered a set of 5 metallic thread spools to use for card making. 4 appear to be perfectly fine. However, the black one arrived partially unraveling. Not too bad; it is salvageable since it is not being used to sew, though there will be some loss. It is disappointing though. Thread is pretty, however it's a lot thinner than I expected. I even double it but it's not as shown as I would've liked. Since it's so thin it tends to break more easily also. Might purchase in a different color and see if there's any difference. Prob not but it's worth a shot. .
