    • Very Good Overall - Strong chair, Turns Well, Folds Well, Looks Nice

This is a rugged wheelchair that manuvers well. I especially like that it has a small footprint on turns. I did have to increase the speed to turn on a slope. With the pull of a switch it folds and pulls up to unfold and snap back into place. I also like that the folded version can either lay flat or stand on its own, unlike some other wheelchairs. The pulls to convert from electric and manual are easily tapped with the foot. One thing I wish could be better is the seating. It is cushionny, however the back of the chair seems a little lower than the front, raising the knees. This is especially true and uncomfortable when raising the footrest. I did try to see how the chair rated when going over humps (without a slope). The chair was not able to go over a 2" hump from the driveway into our garage. I needed to add a slope to manage to enter into the garage. Have not tested it out and about yet on the streets and for travel. Will update post when I do. ... show more

I bought this chair instead of putting a trailer hitch for a chair carrier on my car. I only need someone to be with me because it's just too heavy for me to wrangle since I can only stand but not walk. I've used it at Burlington and at the Mall (haven't been to the mall in years) and even on the beach. My world just got suddenly bigger and it's thanks to Malisa and this excellent power chair. Anyone who sees me in the chair is amazed that it folds but is still able to be a sturdy mode of transport. Also, customer service was impressive when my chair was shipped missing an item. Jay even gave me his number so I could call him with any problems, should they arise but I'm happy to say I haven't talked to Jay at all in the time I've been a customer.
