    • Perfect to get out and about
We needed a power wheelchair that was light enough for my wife to get it in out out of my truck and her car without difficulty. It can be a little bulky when trying to get it in and out of a vehicle. It is a little heavy but compared to other power chairs this is by far the lightest. The battery is easy to charge and has a long life. Just make sure to power it off when you are sitting in one place for some time. It has several speeds so you don't have to keep speeding up or slowing down. The turn radius is about zero but only after you have had practice driving it around. The hand control can go on either side which is a big plus. Gets a little muddled down on thick carpet and should not use it in wet grass or mud. Handles slopes and rough pavement/gravel just fine. The horn also comes in handy when trying to make your way through a group of people. Don't give up on it if you first have a hard time with it. Once you get the hang of it you'll really enjoy using this chair. This also works great when I am alone with my service dog as it was easy to train him to work with me in the chair. Finally, another benefit is you can switch from power to manual in case the battery runs out or in a situation where someone needs to push you. It is light enough for someone to push rather than being in one of those power carts or scooters. A great purchase and worth the money. This was a gift for what would have been otherwise a housebound gentleman. I wish I could have given this 4.8 stars, not 5, for a little initial problem. But the problem was not worth losing a whole star. After just an initial problem trying to get the footrest to fit on the chair, for which the customer service was exemplary also (it needed my husband to grate down a very tiny bit of metal to get it to fit), it was GREAT for our friend. He was so happy. It bought him freedom to leave his home and toodle around the small town we live in. It was so great for the town to see him out and about! The battery kept the charge for him for a few hours at least, not sure what the maximum hours have been, as he went around town (but he had to remember to plug it in every night), and it was easy for him to learn to use. The only problem was that it turned out that the rear wheels are NOT solid, as had been accidentally advertised on the Amazon site when I bought it, so he just got a flat. The company did an extremely quick and professional apology, both texting me (at my request) and writing to me, and calling me, to make sure I got their response. They quickly fixed the error in the Ad, (which is now accurate in all ways) and is sending by 2 Day mailing 2 inner tubes, for us to help him fix it if he wants to wait for the tubes. The customer service rep told me that any bike shop could also fix it, if our friend wants us to bring the chair to a bike shop. I was super impressed with the customer service, and have no doubt that this was simply an error on somebody's editing of the Ad part. And, to be honest, if I had been a wiser person, I would have realized that there was no way those rear tires could have been solid, or else a person would feel every single tiny bump as they rolled along.     • Best motorized wheelchair ever!
I purchased this wheelchair for my wife a little while ago but waited to provide feedback as the chair had not been thoroughly tested until now. We took the wheelchair to Europe and, as advertised, the wheelchair was easily tagged and stored by the gate agents prior to boarding our flights. The wheelchair was approved and fit in our cabin during our river cruise. The battery held its charge throughout the trip (10 days of moderate use) and was easy to maneuver through the streets, airports, and sidewalks. My wife absolutely loves it and thanked me several times during the trip telling me it was a godsend. Would buy it again but since this is so well built, I'm not sure I'll ever need to. ... show more

    • Update: Chair is unusable - wheels fall off, does not turn

Update #3: The chair no longer turns. It is completely unusable. Customer service said they were going to help over the phone then stopped returning our calls. We are out a thousand dollars unless they finally step up to make this right. This chair was supposed to give me mobility and freedom but it is nothing but a nightmare. Update #2: Customer service’s response to the latest wheel issue was a generic cut & paste of the warranty which is essentially useless and just blowing us off. They don’t seem to want to deal with what is obviously a defective chair. Chair is now completely unusable. Left wheel not only came off again with less than hour of use after we finally thought it might be fixed, but the pin that holds the wheel on shredded to nothing but metal shavings. How that could happen is disturbing. It is not even safe to push. Update #1: I am downgrading my review to a 1 star because the chair has proven itself unsafe. Customer service has been responsive but has not provided a solution that gives me a safe, reliable chair yet. If they do I will update this review again. The wheels on this chair fall off. They have fallen off while I was in the chair twice now and have loosened dramatically several more times. Customer service has given advice and replacement screws but the problem seems bigger than new screws and some Loctite can fix. This chair is fundamentally unsafe. I can not use it. Luckily, I am ambulatory which allowed me to get out of the chair safely when the wheels failed. Someone who could not get out quickly could be seriously injured. This chair has only been used for a few hours total in the time I have had it. It is unsafe and unreliable. Original review: This chair has been great for me so far. We had a small issue with a noisy wheel when it first came. Customer service was great and helped figure out an easy fix (bolt needed a little loctite). The chair is a bit heavy. We have to put it in the backseat of one of our cars instead of the trunk and it is hard to lift. The weight is clearly listed in the description so that is our fault for misjudging just how heavy it is from the given information. However, it is important to point out and a negative for us. It does fit in the trunk of our small sedan. The battery life is great. It handles grass and dirt with no problems. It is easy to maneuver and comfortable. I do wish it were easier to pull up to a table. The arms do not lift, which we knew from the description. But the joystick position makes it hard to pull up to a table. The back up beep needs a way to turn it off. It is very loud and kind of embarrassing when you are somewhere quiet or even at home at night. ... show more
