Very cool price. Best siding gun

  • Excellent Cedar Shingle Gun - One Flaw
This is an excellent wooden cedar shingle gun due to the fact it uses the correct diameter of nails requested by code. Other guns nail diameters are just to large which would split the shingle to easily. There is only one flaw - It's not cordless!

  • Great nailer
I’ve found this nailer useful for siding, some fencing, sheathing repair, and ended up using it for trimming our chicken coop. I used Bostitch thick-coat ring shank nails and have yet to have a misfire. The depth control was easy to use. This size nailer really sits between a framer and a roofing nailer. I’m sure it’ll see a lot of use and last quite a while (home/property use). ... show more

  • Best fencing nailer
This is by far the best fencing nail gun I’ve used. It’s the only one that can fire as fast as I can out pickets up and rarely jams because it can keep up.

  • Makes siding easy
This works really good. Makes it easy to side the house.

  • Flawed, jams up every other nail, coil wire caught in piston.
I am 100% makita fan, nearly all of my tools are makita but this newer model is just no good. The hole where the nail comes out is too large, and the piston binds on the coil wire causing it to jam almost every shot. Using this gun has slowed my cedar siding project down to double or more because I spend so much time removing jams. I really wish I tested it out before the return window, now I am stuck with a crappy nail gun that is nearly useless. My neighbor is a siding/roofer and is letting me borrow his older model of the same gun. On the older model the hole the nail comes out at the end is smaller in diameter and does not jam up like this newer model. I really just want the old version now, this new one doesn't seem to work as good. ... show more
