Upon arrival, this package was lightweight and easy to assemble. I noticed the wood arrived slightly damaged/frayed, but used it anyway. Originally, I thought the metal bottom pulled out like a tray, but it does not. After assembling, I noticed the pieces do not line up as well as I would have hoped. Since then, I’ve noticed sand leaking through the cracks which is inconvenient. So, I added a plastic barrier to protect the metal bottom from any dampness in the cage and also stop it from leaking. This cage has a nice modern look at an affordable price and works well as a brooder, however it would not last long outdoors. Good size for my sulcata. A downfall is dirt comes out from the cracks I need to sweep everyday around their area. I have an active sulcata and he climbs the wire on the corners and flips over.

    • Metal bottom…. What could go wrong?

I know I have had this thing for a year but the bottom rusting completely was not what I expected. Just want to let everyone know that the metal bottom is not treated and spills from the water dish will end up like this. I had a piece of plexiglass cut to fit the bottom after tearing out the rusted bottom so I will still get some life out of it. Good luck… now I off to get a tetanus shot. 🐢 I’ll up the rating to two stars if the seller pays for my shot. 😆 ... show more

    • Very inexpensive wood/Quality not great
I really wanted to like it. Unfortunately the wood quality is so cheap. The wood split so easily with every screw put in. The premade holes didn’t line up correctly. We are having to sand it down because there are so many splinters. My husband is trying to make it work. The price was good for the type of product, but sadly I don’t recommend unless you want to have to sand it down and try and make sure the wood doesn’t split. ... show more
