The media could not be loaded. Wow what a GAME CHANGER for people towing. This camera I bought is the second one from Amtifo and like the other camera very well built, high quality and great support. The first one I use as a backup camera on the back of my 5th wheel, this one I will use to help guide me for hitching of the 5th wheel and our boat. The camera is solar powered with a battery that fully charged will last 12 hours. The camera has a strong magnetic base that I can quickly install on my RV 5th wheel to help alinement with backing up. It is very convenient and eliminates the tedious operation of wiring. The image quality is excellent. With the camera module magnetically mounted on the back tailgate of my truck I can see to line my hitch up with my boat trailer on the first try. I can rotate the camera up and now I can see when I back into my garage and get my truck closer to the wall over the factory backup camera. The clarity of images in the display is excellent — again, both day and night. At night, the camera's built-in infrared illumination is superb. Moreover, I observed no transmission delays between the camera and the display. I also tried this camera out in my house and with the display in my office I can take the camera anywhere in and out of the house with no loss of transmission. My wife said when our grandchild comes over, she can set it up in the bedroom and use to watch crib now that it has a USB, we can set the monitor anywhere. The mounting magnet behind the camera is quite strong — as it needs to be when the camera is mounted for an extended time on a moving and potentially bumping vehicle — and yet it's padded enough with soft plastic to prevent any damage to a vehicle's paint. The product has multiple application modes, and I haven't tried all of them. However, one feature allows the user to optionally project colored guidelines onto the screen works great when attaching my 5th wheel travel trailer. The display is also voice activated so no buttons to push while driving to turn on and off. Out of concerns about too-easy theft of the magnetically mounted camera, I do not routinely keep it attached to the truck or camper being it's so easy to put on. I keep it when not in use in my truck storage area. The pictures I used a pool noodle to simulate my attachment of my 5th wheel hitch as I have that removed for winter months. Overall, system was very well packaged and was 2-day delivery for me. Their customer service is outstanding and fast replies, and it comes with a 2-year warranty, and at this price point it's a steel. ... show more

This was my third attempt using a wireless camera for the rear of my RV. This kit has great signal coverage and it works perfectly to the rear of my 36-foot RV. Previous attempts with other brand units resulted in intermittent signal loss, especially at higher speeds. This product has excellent picture resolution and has been very stable. It is easy to mount without extra wiring for the installation. The camera is magnetic and must be adhered to a metal backing. Having the solar charging screen is a great solution as it charges without external power connections. I tried it on the tailgate of my pickup to assist in backing to the RV. My RV has an aluminum skin, so in order to attach it at the location of the factory backup camera housing, I replaced the housing with a small metal plate so the magnet would attach. This works and looks great and having the camera at a higher location gives a better view and is better protected from limbs, branches, or theft. This product has a great quality image of the camera's transmission, being wireless. As advertised, it is perfect for a backup camera when hauling trailers, boats, or anything else that prevents your rear view mirror or vehicle's factory backup camera from being useful. Mounting the video screen is a breeze with it's suction cup bracket and super sticky bottom. Wiring it uses a standard cigarette lighter socket or , if available, a standard USB plug as well. The camera is heavy with an extremely strong magnetic bottom that will mount to any magnetic surface. It has a rubber coating that prevents scratches on your vehicle when mounting and dismounting the camera. I found no issues with the range of the wireless signal, extending further than anything you could tow. It looks very nice and it's battery life, without any sunlight, is very good. With constant sunlight, the camera could operate indefinitely. It is easy to charge, though, with a USB cable. I found this system can be used for many other purposes, anywhere. As long as you can wire the video screen to power, the camera can be placed on any magnetic surface, such as a refrigerator or air conditioner, letting you be able to monitor areas with it. I used a portable phone charger to power the monitor, making it very portable. The product is very attractive and looks great when mounted. It also can have a second camera connected at the same time, the monitor allowing you to switch between them or even see both at the same time.
