I say most shopping carts, as some have handles that rotate around so in that case it does not work as good. In my case that is the smaller carts used by Hannaford in my area. On all other carts it allows you to view your shopping list and check off items while keeping your hands free.

Took a chance on this mount given the limited number of reviews and was rewarded with a really nice product. The flexible clamp adapts to many size tubes and holds solid. It also comes with a couple of silicone pads to help take up space if you want to mount it to something with a very small diameter. I'm using it on my Peloton Bike and it works nicely.
