  • Excellent value, overall a really solid and versatile carrier
After doing A LOT of research on various brands, styles, etc of carriers, we chose this one as an alternative to the more expensive options out there. We figured we would try this one first and if it wasn't good, then we could upgrade to one of the more pricey options. Overall, we're very pleased with it and so glad we saved $100+ by opting for this one! Our criteria included: a soft structured carrier that can be worn outward + inward facing, some hip cushioning/weight bearing, both my husband and I can both use it, and lastly, something we hope our baby (10-months old) can actually nap in (i.e. head/neck support options). Overall it's been great! We already own a Bjorn (good but not enough hip support for the wearer and not so ergo-friendly for baby if worn long periods) plus a K'tan (great for smaller/younger babies, but not enough structure for a heavier/older baby, I think). We used this on a 10-day family vacay which included lots of walking and long periods outside in sun. It worked very well! Our baby could face out to check out our surroundings, but also face in and get decent naps when it was time to rest. Bonus was that our 3.5 year old could also ride in it, on our backs. I even got her to nap in it once too! It's been very easy to throw on, adjust, switch positions, etc. and I can almost always get it on solo... but sometimes need a hand to snap the one buckle which connects the arm straps if baby is on my front. Could it be more cushiony in the hips? Sure. Could it be more ergo-friendly for baby, esp facing out? Maybe. But is it worth $100 more to get a little bit more of those features? Not to me! Overall, we highly recommend this if you're looking for similar criteria as us and if you're not fully sold on the pricier options out there. ... show more

  • Super useful carrier
I never really write reviews but I feel the need to write one for this carrier. I was skeptical at first because I thought for this price that this would not be high quality, or supportive. I was looking for a cheap carrier to throw in the trunk of my car to have on hand. I am into baby wearing and have/tried many different kinds of carriers (SSCs, woven wraps etc). I have used this particular carrier the most and for the longest period of time BY FAR. This was easy to use while baby was smaller and still as easy months later. Its super quick for quick trips to the grocery store etc. I have used it to go on longer walks/hikes, i've worn her on the smallest seat setting, and now largest, and forward facing. I have used it to put my baby to sleep when shes super fussy/teething. It is a great carrier for the price, and washes well. Its been extremely useful for me. What would make it perfect is slightly more padding in the shoulders--as my baby has gotten heavier I need more padding if I end up wearing her for a long period of time. I should add that I'm petite (5 ft, 100lb) as different body types will have totally different experiences wearing different carriers. ... show more

  • Good cashier without breaking the bank
I love this carrier and I've tried on a lot. A friend got me a $200 one and I exchanged it for this one. I love that it has a buckle for the waist because it's easy to get on and off quickly and quietly if they fall asleep in it and you want to transfer them to bed. I have written my baby front and back on my front side and by backside and I can do all 4 positions by myself. Now that she's 8 months she's getting a bit heavier and so is not as comfortable but I haven't tried others with her being this big. I only tried a bunch when she was a newborn. She loves it and it's my go to way too get her to sleep when we're out and about. I often get her to sleep in it and then lay her on a blanket when we go to the park. ... show more

  • Great value, but you can see why
So we purchased this as a spare, our regular carrier is a ergobaby 360. honestly both do the same thing, but you can see the difference in quality in the buckles, straps, etc. I dont think its unsafe or anything but just not as polished. Would I buy it again for 1/5th the price of an ergo baby? Of course. ... show more

  • Love it
I purchased this carrier thinking it was worth a shot given the price of it. I was planning on splurging on a fancy carrier like tulla or kinder pack but figured I should give the less expensive one a shot and if I was unhappy I would buy the other eventually. Well I dont plan on purchasing any other carrier. I absolutely love this carrier. I have been able to use this carrier from the first week my son was born. He stays very calm and usually sleeps very well in this carrier I find it easy to slip on and off and i find myself using this more than the infant carseat and stroller. I highly recommend i have yet to use it front facing since my baby is still young but i dont see why that wouldn't be just as good ... show more

  • Great Baby Carrier!
We bought this carrier after our baby was already 3 months old and had been trying to use a moby wrap. The wrap was nice enough, but it was so hot and sweaty and had so many layers once you wrapped baby up. This carrier is very easy to use and is comfortable. I love the versatility and the variety of ways with which I can carry my Baby :) It's not overly hot (of course when you have another human being laying/pressed up against you, there will be some heat) and fits me well. I am a large woman and was worried it wouldn't fit me (not sure of my pant size, as I only wear leggings, they are so much more comfy! :) Especially after baby!). I am 5'6 1/2" and 235lbs still struggling with after baby belly and this carrier fits me just fine! :) ... show more

  • Quality material and pretty easy to the eyes for a gender neutral carrier
Pros- Vest is comfy enough and our 2month old son fits perfectly in it. He is roughly 12lbs. Quality material and pretty easy to the eyes for a gender neutral carrier. Easy to fold up and stuff in a backpack or diaper bag for storage. Cons- No sun cover for your child if you’re outside Takes a few times to try on with your little one to get the fitment right and some of the straps are awkward to get to if you have wide shoulders, but pretty straight forward otherwise. If not tight to your waist your child will start to slide down too far. No barrier between you and your child, and my kid spits up a lot when inside this, if he’s not asleep. ... show more

  • Didn’t meet my expectations
I didn’t like that the baby was not fully in a seat. The baby is just laid against your body and strapped around. My child is heavy about 20 pounds- and it pulled in a way that hurt my back. Not enough “support”.
