  • Caused marks on my baby that caused the hospital to review me for abuse
Color: Grey Style: Flip 4-in-1 Carrier
I'm being accused of abuse after using this. I took my daughter to the dr. Not even 12 hours after using this because of the marks in rhe pictures. Then last night I seen this product caused these marks on 100s of other babies! My daughter is 3 months! She was given x-rays! They want to do more! They brought the cops here! I used this for us to pick out a Christmas tree! My holiday is ruined! I have children services coming here for the second time after a meeting at the hospital yesterday for her to be looked over for rhe 4th time over this mark, to look at the backpack! This may cause me to loose my sweet baby shes my everything! Why would you make this? I am getting a lawyer now to fight everything thank God for the other reviews 🙏 that may have just saved us. Unexplained marks on a baby who can't crawl causes parents to be reviewed by the hospital and children services. Ruined my babies first Christmas. To be accused of hurting your baby is the worst feeling I've ever experienced. This product did more harm then anything I've ever paid for. ... show more

  • Works well for newborn, with a small hack
Color: Grey Style: Flip 4-in-1 Carrier
I'm taking my 2 week old around the neighborhood in this carrier and she fits well into it, with a small hack. Unlike some other carriers, you do not need an infant insert with this infatino. The straps tighten enough to offer good support for a newborn at the back and neck. One problem is that it kind of cuts out my baby's blood circulation in the legs. You can watch the little feet turn purple in a few minutes... BUT, we found a hack - roll up a towel or small blanket and put it at the bottom of the carrier as a booster seat. That way the legs can bend down naturally instead of forced into a split. As the baby get bigger and her blood circulation improves, you can remove the booster. Overall great carrier at great price, easy to put on and my baby always falls asleep in it. By the time she’s 5 months and weighs about 15lbs, we switched to ergo as she can fit in it without an insert and it’s more comfortable for the adult. ... show more

My son's blood vessels on his lower legs burst after using this.

  • Happy baby
Color: Grey Style: Flip 4-in-1 Carrier
We’ve tried 4 baby carriers. Lillebaby all seasons 6 position carrier: seat too wide for baby to sit comfortably (practically doing the splits) and it was very expensive ($140) Baby K’tan: worked okay when our baby was a newborn but there’s zero adjustability so my husband couldn’t use it at all, it was outgrown too quickly ($50) Infantino sash wrap and tie: by far the easiest for both parents to put on, inexpensive, easily adjustable, but can’t carry baby facing out on the front, and most of the weight is placed on lower back. I never wore this for longer than 30min but definitely a winner for babies who aren’t ready to face out. ($35) Infantino Flip 4-in-1 Convertible Carrier: Now that our baby is 9 months old, this is our go to carrier. She loves looking at the world as we go for long walks. Carries the weight evenly on shoulders and back, easy to adjust, but be careful of the extra space you take up, I did bonk her head going sideways through a door. ($30) ... show more

  • Lightweight and easy to use but has its drawbacks.
Color: Grey Style: Flip 4-in-1 Carrier
We also have an Ergo 360 and how our son fits in them is a bit different but mainly the Ergo has much more padding in the hip and shoulders and keeps him more snug against my body. The main positive for the Infantino is that its lightweight and you don't get nearly as hot as you do in the Ergo. At 5 months old the kid has more room to move his head around and I don't sweat as much as I do with the Ergo, but I don't think I could wear this for 2 hours without back pain but I could in the Ergo. All in all I'm glad I got it and I'd buy it again. The Ergo is more comfortable but its also $120 more. A bigger and more supple pad on the waist band would go a long way. Maybe DIY it? ... show more

  • The Baby Roulette!!!
Color: Black Style: Flip 4-in-1 Carrier
Hello and good day to you! The review is on the safety of the carrier only and this product is NOT SAFE and could be DANGEROUS to your BABY!!!!! After being in the carrier for 15 minuts if not less my 16lb baby had received several small purple dots all over the leg after being properly put in the carrier and the instruction manual fully read and fallowed. I made a mistake purchasing this product and I hope you don’t make the same. *If you’re interested in the whole story please read the rest if not, I thank you now for your time* After making a joint decision my partner and I decided to get this carrier probably for the same reason you are looking at it and like you I read the reviews before purchase and I noticed that some people loved the carrier and some people said that they found spots on their babies legs after being in the carrier for a short period of time. Maybe just like you, I doubted that a carrier designed for something so precious could cause any harm unless some of the “facts” were not as true as stated and perhaps the babies were not in the carrier properly or maybe even for longer then stated. Despite the WARNING reviews I didn’t think it could happen to us. I put my baby in the carrier and walked over to the garage to take clothes out of the dryer and transfer a new wet load in. I walked back into the house and took the baby out. Because of the varied reviews I decided to support my baby underneath with my arm while doing the laundry. I went to mention that a lot of reviewer’s stated that you should put a towel or some sort of support inside of the carrier to prevent the damage it causes to the legs. The MANUFACTURER has NO such instructions and there should be no reason to do them in the first place. The only thing they mention is to readjust and check on the babies circulation but it does not say how often but I’m sure it is not every 15 minutes! Thank you for your time and good luck on picking out a safe product for your child, I know how hard it can be😊 ... show more
