These are great and my kids love them. They blend well with our other magnatiles sets. However, they’re super fragile when trying to put together and take apart. I usually have to do it for them because they’ll easily break them.

I’ll start by saying the construction of materials is decent. Our complaint comes from the 3+ label. This is not for children who cannot wait until it is constructed. The structures topple over easily during construction and play as well. Which gets infuriating after about the third time you have to fix the thing. Which takes about 5-10 minutes (if not more) each time if the child is next to you. Also, putting the tubes together with the magnets requires an adult or at least a kid with very strong hands and is impossible for a 3 year old. Let alone stacking the magnets on top of each other to create a structure. No chance. It’s a really nice concept but the structures are brittle after construction. This would be better served as a 5+ toy rather than a 3+ toy. ... show more

    • Keeps busy for hours with help
My grandson loves these! We added them to what we already had. He will play with it for hours. The only problem is he cannot put them together by himself. The tubes are hard to snap to the square pieces. That is the only downside. There has to an easier design for that! Other than the one issue we love them. ... show more

Ordered for a four year old grandson. As the grandfather, I spent well over an hour trying to assemble one of the suggested marbles runs. The magnets used in this set are simply not strong enough to support the weight of the tracks. Every time I would almost complete the track-way, some portion of the assembly would collapse under its own weight. My wife tried to build one of the assemblies on the refrigerator. The magnets would not even attach to the fridge - simply sliding down the vertical surface. Playing is supposed to be fun, not frustrating.
