I am so happy I got this strange looking brush. It makes painting so much less of a chore. I will definitely be buying again when i need another OH and it's easily cleaned with no bristles falling out when you clean it which is major to me

    • Works for painting with DryLok on basement walls
DryLok waterproofing a basement wall can tire your hand and wrist pretty fast but this brush relieves the strain quite a bit. Speeds up the job since it's wide and covers more area. Could be a little thicker but the price is well worth the investment for small jobs.

I am an artist who had a commission for very large paintings. Buying extra large artists' brushes can kill your budget. That's why I say, this brush design is a win-win!! Cheap, easy to clean, doesn't shed, and really makes a smooth finishing brush for gel medium on canvas. I bought two. But will probably buy more. ONE NOTE: if you leave them in water for long periods the bolts that hold the brush will rust. But that in no way impacts the use or the genius of this design to offer a reasonably priced brush for large work. I'm spreading the word to artists near and far. I used this brush on a canvas with acrylic paints next to one another on a palette. I wanted them to blend to create a straight fluid movement as I pulled the brush downward. Worked as planned. Like a 4 or 5” Liquitex paddle brush. It’s firm and steady. Cleans easily. No loss hairs. Is very well made! Loved it! ... show more

Really really wish they would have put in the description that this brush was created for only right handed people. There’s a finger hole with a graduated slope on one side, so if you’re holding in that position it’s less pressure on your finger, but ONLY if you’re right handed. There’s no gradient on the other side, only a sharp plastic edge. Same with a thumb hole. Keeping because the quality still looks good and I need it for this weekend - hoping I don’t cut off circulation in my finger. ... show more
