I had an issue with a couple bent parts, but the seller sent us replacements. Once those came in assembly was quite simple, everything was very well marked. The only confusing part was the fencing but that is not on them, there is no "specific" way to do it... it depends on the person assembling it. We wrapped it around and then over the top. I really am happy with it, especially for the price point and my chickens love it too. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it. The seller has been very helpful. ... show more

    • Good, but could be better.
We love our fencing. But had difficulty putting together due to having no instructions and was short on wire. Other then that. It was good. So advice.. please make sure to include instructions and maybe provide a little bit more wire? Also, honestly the tarp could me a little more wider as well.

The media could not be loaded. The picture directions are quite easy to follow along with….. until they aren’t! After 3-4 hours we had to quit for the day! The door Frame and door still aren’t on, and the directions don’t help AT ALL! I have a bag of hardware that wasn’t even used and from what we can tell; isn’t needed anywhere. The door and its frame, how do we attach the hinges? Hmmmm, good question; we still can’t figure it out! Nothing in these directions is helping us assemble this door. ... show more

It’s cheap for a reason the frame is good throw the fence in the trash extremely thin and not a proper size for the frame

Overall pretty happy with this pen. I was able to put it together by myself and it's a pretty sturdy cage. I put pet screen around it, then put the chicken wire over top and it's worked well at keeping everything in/out. A couple of the polls has slight defects to it (missing a pin, hole not there) but nothing I couldn't get to work. If it comes down in price some, I will definitely get another one. ... show more

    • Mostly easy to assemble
Be advised: you may need extra wire / hardware cloth and you will probably need extra zip ties. We bought this fenced-in run for our chickens. The frame was easy to assemble. The latching mechanism for the door could be improved. But for the cost and its size, this was the best product for us to purchase. The one issue we had was applying the chicken wire. We allowed for a few inches of overlap along each piece. Unfortunately by the end we had run out of chicken wire and didn't have enough for the door. So we ended up buying some extra hardware cloth with 1/4" holes to put on the door for extra protection. If you really scrimp on zip ties, you'll probably have enough, but we wanted that added security of lots of connection points. We ended up buying and using a couple extra packages (probably around 80 extra) of zip ties. We also get a lot of wind where we are, so we used duct tape along the tarp edge and created a few extra "grommet" holes to tie it down in more places. It took about 6 hours total to assemble. We are very happy with our purchase! ... show more

So for anyone who just wants to get everything out of the box and start building, this is not the right thing for you. Be ready to have a fully charged drill, a back up battery, and a couple of heavy duty drill bits because not a single piece lines up to where it can just snap together as it should. Every hole has to be drilled out and made larger so the pins can pop out and lock it into place. A project that only should have taken a few hours is now going to take more than a day, especially seeing that I'm doing this on my own. If I wouldn't have already started drilling on these pieces and thrown away the boxes I would be asking for a refund because I expected the metal work to have already been done in the price. It's about like self checkout because there I have to shop for it, ring it up, bag it, AND carry it out to my car. Well here I had to order it, pay for it, redrill the holes that are already supposed to be drilled, and then finally put it together. All I can say is that I'm just happy I'm a woman who knows how to handle a drill because I would have been so mad if I would have had to pay someone. Tell whoever is drilling out these pieces that they need to do better. Product test before you sell it, just something to think about. ... show more
