Too funny.. These shorts are great. They are identical to the Vayager biking shorts that come with padding that sell for the same price and heretofore to my knowledge only used to come with the padding. I love the utility of the shorts and they last forever. Just love the fit and finish (all the nice pockets). I bought my first pair in 2021 (at least that's my first existing record I have of the purchase), and every one that I have still look like new after rigorous use both on the bike and in the gym. My biggest problem with any Chinese manufactured products with zippers IS the zipper which tend to fall apart. Not so with these. All the zippers function great after 3 years. The BUT in the headline refers to my suggestion to Vayager that the padded shorts were great except for the fact that the padding was hung too low for a shorter guy. I advised that I had to cut the padding out and use my own padding. I suggested that they market them without the padding for a lower price as they make a great walkaround or gym short. It looks like they may have taken my advice and here they are without the padding at the SAME price as the padded short. While I suspect but have no proof that this was the impetus for them to do so I never even got a thank you from the product development team for helping them develop the new line. If that's the case I would have thought that they'd at least have sent me a pair when they launched the new line lol.

Finally some comfortable shorts with enough pockets to hold everything. These shorts are lightweight and fit as expected. My 18 year old son loves the feel of them and the two tone colors. He got a black pair back in July 2022 and then we purchased this blue pair the first week in August. The shorts are well made and look terrific.

I bought one pair of shorts and ended up buying several. They are light and breathable. the pockets are actually big enough to hold a water bottle and there are other pocket with zippers for key and your wallet. A very good product and I wear them almost every time I walk, not just hikes in the woods.

These shorts are the perfect addition to my husband’s summer wardrobe. He loves the elastic waistband so he doesn’t need a belt and still looks stylish. It has great pocket placement and the neutral colors offered are great to go with many shirts.

My favorite part of these shorts are the style of pant pocket on shorts. The pocket is upwards and not towards the sides. You sit down in other shorts and they have a huge opening on the side seam, there's nothing that falls out of my pocket with these. The material is quite nice staying rain/moisture resistant. It feels like a durable fabric so far. I really hope they hold together I really like them, but the factory's stitching in a few areas could be better. And I hope they don't fall apart or degrade too quickly. I really utilize my clothes with work and play. I'm rugged I hope they are.
