But what I didn't realize at first was that once you unscrew the inner sleeve that holds the jet in place, there's another, smaller ring of threads inside, and this fountain fits those perfectly. I have this exact same thing in another brand, so I know how to install it. After a couple of attempts, and a friend's attempt we concluded it was missing a collar and un-usable. I wrote to them and never heard back and threw it in the trash. P.S. If you have any brand of a similar fountain and the water doesn't go very high, which MANY people complain of, as did I -- clean or replace your filter. My other one would only shoot about 3-4 feet high until the annual filter replacement came. I happened to be standing by the pool when he turned the pump back on and it shot 15-20 feet in the air! The filter is cleaned every 2-4 weeks, so it may or may not have had that result from simply cleaning it, but if you try cleaning it, you might notice a huge difference, or may realize you need a new filter. Running it high or even just low above the water keeps the pool SO MUCH cleaner by just moving the water around WAY MORE than the regular wall jets. It did NOT, however, do much for the cheesy-supposed "light" -- the little glow stick glows the TINIEST bit brighter with the extra pressure, but that's about it. ... show more

So easy to install. We love this. You can adjust height of water spouting out. We wanted something to help drown out highway traffic a couple miles away. It is perfect. Sounds like a resort.

    • Had to fix it to make it work

Like other reviewers said the threads are too small. Went to HD and bought 2-1 1/2” threaded male couplers and a piece of 1 1/2” pvc and rebuilt the end that screws into pool return. The sleeve that rotates over the cutout on the original product fits perfectly on the schedule 40 1 1/2” pcv so was able to drill a 1” hole in the pipe and reuse that. Works great now. Ran it for three days (24 hours per day) and pool dropped from 95 to 80 I was amazed it worked so well. Now I have the pump on a timer and runs 12 hours a day and pool averages about 88. Hot summers here in central North Carolina this does the trick but only three stars since I had to fix the product ... show more

I have to admit I had very low expectations. I mean this is as about as cheap of a water feature as you can get. But my main concern was just getting something to aerate my pool and raise the pH a bit. Seems to be working on that point as expected. But I'm most impressed at how well this works as a fountain. I have a variable speed pump and 2 returns and this thing puts out about a foot of spray even at 1300 RPM. When the pump is on its highest speed it shoots out halfway across the pool. And the LED lights actually work fairly well at night! Installation was super simple too. Kudos to the manufacturing for making such a simple, easy to use product that performs well AND is a good value! ... show more

    • Doesn't light up anymore!

FOR CUSTOMERS: Don't waste your money until these are improved. SELLER: Get the light longevity fixed from your manufacturer. Having a good product will always help you sell more. Bought these for my pool 10 months ago and only used them a short period then put them away for the winter. Broke them out for a Cinco De Mayo party this weekend and both broke where they're glued together so we had to glue them back together which wasn't that big of a deal. The bigger problem is the lights no longer work. I mean one of the coolest features is that it lights up in the pool at night. Not even a a year later, they don't work. I have a light up chlorine tab floater that I've had for 3 yrs and it still works. ... show more
