    • A nice pedal that can be used to control iPad/iOS based music programs
I use this pedal to control BeatStation drum machine and BiasFx2 guitar amp simulation. It's a fraction of the price of the other solutions and works well once you figure it out. The only down side is the documentaiton is not great. I had to spend some time with Google and YouTube to figure out what I needed, but once I did, it works great. Solidly built too. I use the Chocolate to control BeatStation, button A does an intro and tehn starts drum pattern A. Press again and it does the outro beat and stop. Button B switches between pattern A and B Button C does a transition between drum pattern A and B Button D inserts a drum fill For bias FX A long press of buttons A-D switched the configuration, and a short press turns pedals in that configuration on/off or toggles them. For example, I long press button B to switch to my Rockabilly setup and a short press of button A turns the Boost on or off. I haven't done it yet, but it looks like I can plug an expression pedal in and map that to BiasFX too. Looing forward to using it for Wah or Volume. ... show more

I’ll get to the worst part first: the app and the manual… You have to be one of these guys who likes to figure things out, so once I spent some time with the CubeSuite app, it all started to fall into place. But the manual, such as it is, is not much help. It’s important to note that there’s more to this pedal than meets the eye at first. It allows a lot of control over each of the pedals’ settings, MIDI channel, Program #, CC #, Note #… all of this can be set using the Cube Suite app. There are also several different modes of operation, including one bank switching mode where you get 32 switch possibilities, another with all 128 MIDI program changes, and another where there is no bank switching, but each switch can have 2 settings, by way of short press & long press, or toggling 2 short presses, etc. It also has a jack for an external pedal, which can be configured any way you need on any MIDI channel. The foot switches are momentary contact, which allows log & short presses, and the whole pedal appears to be very solidly made; it doesn’t feel cheap or shoddy. There is a USB C jack for charging, an on-off switch, and 2 LEDs to indicate charging and Bluetooth connection. My iPad was able to pair with this pedal with no problem, and the apps I use it with recognized it immediately. Very happy with this purchase, and the price was absolutely amazing.     • Works with iPad like a charm.
This is easy to use, rugged and portable. I use it with Bias FX 2 on the iPad, and after minimal setup, I can switch banks and turn effects on and off with ease. Only drawback is that it's pretty small, so if you have big feet it could be a hassle. Worth the money for sure.

I'm using the MVAVE Chocolate to expand button functions for my BOSS RC500 Looper pedal. I'm new to looping, and fairly new to MIDI. So, learning how the RC500's MIDI is implemented is slow, and the manual leaves much to desire for a beginner. However, when you're learned how to, this pedal is a great addition, at an enormous value. It (and the BOSS RC500) is incredibly versatile. I'm impressed to say tha least. Currently, I'm using it cabled via a 3.5mm TRS male to 6.35mm TRS male Type A cable to the RC500. It works flawlessly. If you have a WIDI device you can have wireless MIDI and forego the cable altogether. ... show more

Not incredibly easy to use, but worth the time put in! Set this up with Helix Native in MainStage and it switches between patches, but not snapshots within Helix Native, only MainStage patches. Works for what I do! Super convenient for an all wireless EG setup!

Honestly, extremely impressive for the price. Very small and portable and also feels indestructible. The bluetooth is instant and connects easily. The app to program it does feel a bit lacking but it gets the job done and, again, for the price i can’t complain. Works great with Ableton or Loopy pro!
