We are really enjoying these lights! We have a vinyl lined inground pool so we have a metal wall lining and the magnet in these work great, they really stay put. The reason I put the low score on the remote is that you have to basically stand right above the light to turn them off. You cannot turn them on with the remote, you have to do that manually. They change colors just fine with it, but again you have to be right next to them for it to work. The are very easy to use, but you do have to use the back button to turn them on. Those are the only down sides, other than that, they are just what we were after. We have a large pool, so we needed a minimum or 4, though we do want to add 2-4 more for a brighter effect. ... show more

    • Perfect for above ground pools, but remote has some issues
I rent an apartment and the pool in the complex has had a burned pool light for the longest time. Ive tried multiple portable lights that claimed they could light an above ground pool properly but most of them always offer very limited lighting which is basically the most important feature for me. Anywho I bought a set of this bad boys last summer and theyre perfect for me to light up the area of the pool I wish to use on any given summer night. the remote has an issue where it wont actually function after like 3 feet, and also I have to manually press the On button on the lights to get them going since then on in the remote wont actually turn them on. Personally speaking just being able to actually change the colors and have fun all from anywhere in the pool is pocket change to the strength this lights offer. I mean whats the point of a pool light that doesnt actually light the pool right? Anywho, in bang for your buck this is your best choice, as a bonus, in order to keep them non destructive in nature so I can detach and re-attach them I just used that waterproof playdough clay, It perfectly attaches to the back of them and to most internal pool walls. Bought 3 boxes for our 18x36 inground pool. Lights definitely light up the pool but the remote is worthless. If the light stay off to long the remote will not turn them on so you will need to manually turn them on. Pretty annoying when you just wanna turn them on at night and swim.

Love these pools lights. I have 16x24x48 oval pool and 2 are plenty bright. The magnet is large and holds well. I use the magnet disk provided but they will magnet to my pool poles that make up the frame. I can’t seem to get the timer to activate on auto 24 cycle. I do have to pull them out of water to turn power back on for that reason. They do the job and are a great price. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It took more than 24 hrs to be fully charged, then I used one time. Works for almost 1 hour and then no more. Actually are not charging at all with more than 3 days connected to the power. Bad product

I purchased the pack of 2 and placed one at either end of my pool. The install of the magnetic plate was super easy and the lights charged faster than expected. I was worried that two wouldn’t be enough for my large pool but they provide plenty of light. For reference, my pool is 19ft wide by 34 feet long (approx). The blue colors seem to be the brightest colors. When I turned one of them to red or other color the blue shades seemed to dominate. I would totally recommend. ... show more
