Bought these for our above ground 15x30 pool, we put one light on each side using the magnet feature and it's so bright! The Bluetooth connection is very easy to figure out and the color options are fun, although we just prefer the classic blues!

The media could not be loaded. This is the updated version and has no exposed magnets so nothing to rust and streak your liner. My pool is a 16x32 and one light is great! The app and light work seamlessly together and has about a 30ft range. So far love it. Have the timer set for it to come on each evening. Will update in 6months ... show more

We have a 15x30 oval pool and this lights it up almost fully. We thought we’d need two- but can get away with just one, the far side isn’t as lit (but bugs aren’t attracted there then at night) the Bluetooth is okay- can’t be more than 15 ft from the pool. The timer is a little weird- we find our pool light on randomly during the day even though we have it set for 8p-11p each night ... show more

Loved the concept. Had issue with magnets but rest assured the company was all over it and mailed me the new ones that don’t rust. They followed up several times. awesome customer service, especially in a world where this is becoming less an less. Like amazons for instance.. Updated review….the magnets rusted bad. Only used few times took them out of pool after every use handled with kid gloves and already have one light not working. Didn’t even get 8 months or a season I should say. Very disappointed because I loved them Customer service stood behind there product and sent me a replacement. They work better and the updated sealed magnets are I. The light.     • Made it Work for Inground Pool
We are using these lights in our inground pool, even if that isn't what they're designed for. Here's what we found so far. Light output is excellent! The 2-pack is plenty of light for our ~18k gallon L-shaped pool. The 2-pack has a generous cord length allowing us to place the lights about 20ish feet apart with cable to spare. You have to be close to lights for app to connect. Doesn't bother me since I just put them on a timer, but if you're planning to change them often or use the music features (which I haven't tried), you'll have to consider placement carefully. We put them on an on/off timer, which works perfectly. Love that they come on on their own and stay on until midnight each day. Brings me a little joy every time I look out the window. And since they are LED I don't have to worry about them using a lot of power. Because we are using them for our inground pool, we had a couple of challenges.... For one, they aren't mounted properly. Right now I use the attached metal cable to just rest them against the side of the pool. Occasionally one of them gets flipped around and faces the wall. It really hasn't been a big deal for us since it is easy to just turn it back when it happens (happens maybe 1-2 times a week). The bigger issue is that a kid could yank on it and end up with a cord around them while they're in the pool, which obviously could be pretty bad. We do not allow any kids to play in the pool without an adult being preset, but this is a good reason to find a solution. The good thing with these lights is that the voltage is low enough that it shouldn't hurt anyone if a wire ever became exposed. The other issue with having it free hang is that our vacuum got caught on the wire once and dragged the light further into the pool. It wasn't hard to get it separated, and only happened once, but this is another reason it can't just free-hang. So to make this work better for our inground pool, we went with a simple solution of using a 12" stainless steel L-bracket to fix these lights in place on the side of the pool. I attached the lights to the l-brackets using small (weather proof) bolts and nuts. We have weighted basketball hoops on the sides of the pool so we just slid the top side of the l-bracket under those - they're not going anywhere. Not the best fix ever, but it works and no one even notices the brackets are there. ... show more

Product says waterproof but isnt... Left rust marks on my new vinyl pool liner. I contacted them and was told by Catherine they hadnt heard of it happening which is not true bc others say they had it happen. Asked for a refund and never got it. Reached out again and was told best they could do is 5% off.... My lights should have been replaced with the new ones. This is insane. ... show more
