UPDATE: 26/06/2023. After submitting the evidence of my issue, the support team contacted me. Performed a drive replacement immediately. I am surprised at the speed. NOTE: I need to test the new replacement. Now, after having two weeks with my old hydroponic, I would like to complement my comments: 1.- The QR Code is in the manual on the back with the activation code. 2.- The water leveler does work. If for some reason it doesn't measure the water correctly, just gently move it clockwise until it rises. I confirm that they are 3L of water. 3.- The- water pump needs to move the water a little. If you see that your water pump does not move anything, then it is damaged. 4.- Coriander Seeds: Never put aluminum foil to start planting seeds (I DID IT AS A TEST TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED) Fungus came out. The seeds that were not planted with the aluminum foil are growing without problems. I suggest once the seeds are planted not to move the top. So far, it has been growing for 8 days and the seeds are just opening. 5.- If you need support with the company, go to orders and then to "Get Support" I will continue testing the performance of the hydroponic to leave a final comment, which mentions all the evolution, so far I am very satisfied and happy with my purchase. I am very sure that I will make a new purchase! _____________________________________________________________________________ UPDATE: 24/06/2023: After thinking my water pump was a low noise, it's dead first because it don't move any water. I have right now 5 days with the hydroponic grow system, but i don't now if my seeds will grow correctly. I contact the seller and send the video they ask for. So i will change my rating later when they aproach to me and see whats happening or offers a solution. UPDATE: 22/06/2023 I must comment, that I have never had experiences with this type of "Hydroponic Growing System", I bought it because the price attracted me and I discovered that it was the best value for money compared to other brands (12 pods) (However, there are other very good brands too). So I will be commenting according to my first experience of use, reference to the concerns or difficulties that I had, since they are not clarified in the manual. Checking the official page has important information about your product, although I did not register directly. Just visualize the information in a quick way, but from what I read it has vital information. The second thing I noticed was how beautiful it is, however, I was so excited that I wanted to get everything going at once (and that's what I did). However, I was surprised that this machine does not have seeds, the seller has it specified in the description, fortunately my mother had coriander seeds at home and I was able to move forward. These were the steps that I was solving as I was assembling: FIRST: READ THE MANUAL to have the minimun understanding of whats you need to DO. TEST LIGHT AND PUMP WATER: check the leds on and off and the pump is active before continuing with the following steps. LED bulbs: remove the plastic that covers the led, otherwise the seeds will not grow. I did not realize it for my happy emotion, if I had not read the Amazon comments, the plants would never have grown and possibly I would have gotten frustrated thinking that the machine was not working, I have seen many comments about this, and it must be that they did not move that Protective plastic. LED schedule: I have tested the schedule of the lights and indeed the vegetable one lasts 16 hours on and 8 hours off. (I haven't tried the fruit/flower option yet). Time cannot be set. Simply turn it on at any time you want and it will start counting from there. Water pump: My first difficulty was that, in the manual, it does not indicate how the water pump should be placed, however, it does bring a sponge (the longest one must be placed around the pump) to prevent it from getting stuck. move and make some kind of noise and the short sponge you should put it in front. (There is 1 more spare). In my case, the pump seems to be not that powerful, which makes it very quiet (very good for bedrooms) but maybe not so good for plants. Above you must place the lid with the two tabs that hold it. Suggestion: plug it in and test it before filling the tank. Water level: In the manual it says that the capacity of the tank is 3L, however, the manufacturer tells us not to fill up to more than the "MAXIMUM" capacity that is marked, and in my case that was 2.25 liters of water. If the tank was filled more, the water would have been thrown out when placing the gaskets. It is important that you read the manual to know how the placement process is. (CHECK UPDATE) PLANT FOOD: I fill it with filter water (normal water) up to where it ends at the top of the release in the bottle, (it is suggested to shake very well) Add water: I did not have a water meter, what I did was fill it up to the "maximum" indicator, I suggest that you fill it to 2L so that you put 10ML of plant food for each bottle of "food" plants. READ THE MANUAL. Once you fill the water and have placed the plant food, you can continue with the sponges where you will place your seeds, I placed the sponges in water for 5 minutes, I soaked the seeds for 1 hour. It is advisable to leave the seeds soaking for 12 hours and then place them in the sponges 3 seeds per sponge, and cover them with their cover. Once these steps were completed, I turned on the machine and it is currently in the germination phase. I will be uploading progress in the future. IMPORTANT NOTE 1: To prevent the growth of algae, cover the holes with black electrical tape (from an electrician), since otherwise, you will be promoting the growth of algae. NOTE 2: I don't bother solving these inconveniences since I come from the world of 3D printing, in fact this allows me to learn more about the machine, however, it can be somewhat stressful for people who are not willing to take on the challenge, in my opinion They were manageable inconveniences and that's why I rate it this way. NOTE 3: I have seen many comments, where apparently the LED bulbs are not of good quality, after 6 to 12 months they stop working, I will be updating as some type of problem arises. For now, I have just 3 days with the machine and cannot talk much about this point i will see the evolution. ... show more

It's great for growing herbs. I haven't tried flowers or vegetables much, though. It took a bit to figure out the set-up, but it works well and I love that it automatically shuts on and off in its own cycle, and that it has a flower function and a vegetable function. The water bobber that is supposed to tell you how much water is in the tank doesn't work, so I just add two liters every two weeks and that seems to do the trick. Great for the price, and it works fantastic besides the bobber. ... show more

I bought two of these on sale and I’m VERY happy with my purchase. My other units are Aerogardens, and I think I like these better! The lights are not as strong, but the quantity of plant spaces and the extension height of the light makes up for it. I love the caps that cover the extra holes, and the baskets fit in perfectly. So far they have been amazing for my greens, I’m growing various lettuces and bok choy and they are all doing great. Trying peppers and tomato’s now, but they are only sprouts. The units look really nice as well, and I like the different light settings for flowering or greens. For the price also, the quality is great! Definitely would recommend for people starting out on their hydroponic journey ... show more

    • Beautiful, but not productive…but great customer service!
I got this system for my birthday and the rose gold color is gorgeous. Easy to assemble, but the instructions are a bit misleading. Maybe it is because I am getting old and not as sharp as I was a few years ago. I got it all assembled and did what I thought I was supposed to. I had ordered herb seeds and was so excited at the prospect of having an herb garden available all the time. I planted about 7 different herbs and after a week, the thyme sprouted. I then turned on the lights and the lights and the pump all worked well. I put some pieces of card stock over the unsprouted seeds. 3 weeks later, nothing else had sprouted. I had soaked the seeds the length of time on each package of seeds and as I said, the only thing that grew was some thyme. I was so disappointed because I was hoping that by my birthday, it would be full of seedlings. I replanted about 3 of the herbs, but nothing has sprouted. My daughter has a system from another company and hers has worked beautifully. The system works fine except that I cannot get my seeds to sprout in 6 of the 7 herbs that I planted. I did not select it just for the beautiful container….I really wanted some productivity from it. I have been communicating with Lyko and they have to have the best customer service going. They gave me some good suggestions as to making the seeds germinate (and it is possible that some of my seeds were duds!) and they are sending me a new seed kit. They bent over backward to help me with the problem of seeds not germinating. My only suggestion, if it works, would be to emphasize in the instructions that was the best way to start germination….with a wet paper towel, in a dark place, for a couple of days. I have high hopes now that I will have some better success with the seeds germinating. I am not using the seeds that i ordered in a herb kit. I went to a local store and bought the seeds with time. I will update if this does not work! ... show more

    • Update Pump died at 4 months but seller replaced the unit
I loved this product for four months. I grew lettuce, tomatoes, dill, and hot peppers. The water indicator quit on month 2 but you can easily check the water level so I let it go. However at month 4 the pump quit. I did all the recommended troubleshooting-obviously pumps had died before. However no luck the pump was still dead. I emailed LYKO and with their help tried to revive my garden. No luck but within 2 days I receive a new unit and my garden is up and running! I love this product again and best customer service I’ve ever experienced! ... show more
