    • A Must for Knobby Knees

As you get up in years, there are two things that are difficult to do, get down on your knees, and work on something that is located a waist level. This simple device solves both problems. If you need to kneel, you turn it one way and it is a somewhat padded kneeling pad. If you need to sit while working on something located at waist level (like replacing the battery in an automatic door lock), you turn it the other way and it is a nice seat. The bag for "holding stuff" is a waste. Whatever you put in it would spill out if you had to flip it. It just got in the way and I removed it. The folding/unfolding is a bit difficult, but if you made it any easier, I think it would be less sturdy when you were sitting on it, so it's a tradeoff I don't mind. When it is folded, it tucks neatly away, which is a great advantage over fixed kneeling pads or short stools that don't fold. In the kneeling position, the legs act as arms to help you get down and get up, which is nice. The padding on it is a little thin for folks with knobby knees and might not be enough for "heavy" folks (who might also find it difficult to squeeze between the two legs, but for most people, it should work fine. Overall the bench arrived as advertised, very easy to set up and very strudy. I used it on both the grass and sidewalk as the kneeler and both locations it was easy and stable. I’m a little on the heavier side but felt the bench supported my weight without any issues. The one thing I noticed was that when my knees started to sweat (was wearing shorts) I would slide back and forth on the kneeling pad. I did use it on a 95 plus degree day so sweating was going to be an issue. Overall, very satisfied with the product and would recommend it for people with mobility issues like me. ... show more
